SOME PEOPLE CLAIM TO SEE JESUS IN THE FLAMES THAT ENGULFED PARIS' NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL If that was Jesus in the flames, what message was HE sending?     Smoke and flames rise from Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, on April 15, 2019. (Veronique de Viguerie/Getty Images) As the world's focus turns toward how to rebuild Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, one woman from Scotland prompted an online debate over whether a Christ-like figure could be seen in photos of the cathedral in flames and other social media users agreed with her. “When I looked at this photo last night, I was really astounded by what I saw,” Lesley Rowan told Scotland’s Daily Record. “When I look at it I see a silhouette of Jesus. I really see a vivid image.” Rowans said she believed the image was a positive one. In another photo, some have spotted what they said looks like an angel. She told the Daily Record she was astounded by what she saw when she looked at the photo. "I feel like it will bring comfort to people in Paris and all over the world at this sad time," Rowan said. Others who’ve seen photos of the cathedral are also convinced they see a divine image in the flames. I just know there was something mysterious about that fire because what could have triggered such a fire that could not have been possibly quenched by all the sophisticated equipments and fire fighting machineries there? It certainly seems it's a sign of something to come. |
