You don't get it. For instance they planted drugs in your luggage without your knowledge and God being with you, you carry your luggage out of the airport without being detected. How then are the drug dealers suppose to get their drugs from you? Or are they saying they just plant drugs in passengers luggage just so that they get caught? Doesn't make any sense you know.
No you don't get it. I didn't want to go into details but I have to do that now.

Mr A is travelling and only has hand luggage which in some cases may not be tagged.
Every passenger has a tag prepared for him that is to be used in his checked in luggage.
An airport Official Mr B may collect drugs in a bag and then use any of the unused tags belonging to passenger Mr A.

The passenger will get to his destination, check into his hotel only to to be visited by Security official and arrested for drug trafficking.

The drug is discovered if the recipient of the drug of mr B couldn't successfully claim it from the airport.

There's actually such case now a girl has been arrested and she didn't check in any luggage but a tag belonging to her was found on the drugs. Saudi authorities have only agreed to release her if the Nigerian authorities present the person(s) who did it.
And I heard the ndlea arrested some FAAN officials responsible for such similar act but I don't know if it's specifically for this particular case

I hope you get it now

I still cannot understand how possible it is to plant drugs without the parssengers knowing.

You have possibly never been on International Flight before. if you have ever travelled, you will understand that there is

1. hand luggage you carry with you on the plane;

2. The other heavier luggage you check- in into the plane Cargo section.

This way, anyone that has access (work with those parking the luggage) into the Plane can actually plant anything inside the luggage. QED.

The passenger had only one bad, what they do is to laid another bag with drugs and tag a passenger detail to it even without the passenger knowing. So when d plane lands, if their team over there are able to retrieve the bag, fine, if not so, the passenger whose details d bag carries would be held responsible. I read that woman's story and almost cried for how desperately wicked the heart of men could be. Evil Everywhere.

whaaaaaaat?!! shocked This makes a lot of sense. that is Scary!! but i pressume there would be CCTV cameras at my depature to prove that i never checked more than 1 or 2 bags in, the other bags are not mine. angry Anyway, no custom, Police or Immigration officer would believe that. at the checking out point. sad

Well...i suppose they do it on Some internatonal flights.. dammm! that is really Scary.

doesn't add up to me. Once the plane lands, luggage is unloaded straight to the baggage claim, and usually gets there even before the passengers themselves. Baggage claim is always an open area with lots of people about...there is no time for anyone to sift through all that luggage to find a particular bag they have not seen before, and then to search the bag for what they're looking for, and more importantly, the bags don't go to a secluded place. So really, bags can only be tampered with at their port of origin but not at the destination...which means there could be no possible end game for the alleged airport accomplices.
Who unloads the luggage? Evil spirits or baggage handlers? I think you should google YouTube videos about baggage handlers searching baggages in their care, you will see enough.

It's one thing to open up people's baggage at the port of origin but quite another to do so at the destination. Most violation of baggage happens at the port of origin. While the bags are unloaded by handlers, yes, but it's done in such a way that almost the entire team of handlers would have to be in on the crime. How easy would it be to arrange such a syndicate?

During one of my trip outside naija, I saw some people wrapping their bags with machine-like sealed nylon and all manner of padlocks before checking in luggage. Now it's becoming clearer why. It's even advisable to travel with pocket less plastic bags that have just one central lock to avoid stories that touch. These airport cartels are quite heartless, wickedness of the highest order angry

I share your opinion.
all sorts happen at the airport, they have been at it for years. what do you expect when there are too many ghost staff in the system

Why attributing them to Islam even though they're Muslims? Do Igbo drug lords get attributed to Christianity? Insult their personality please, not their religion.
FYI, some Christians are also among them. why didn't you mention that?

so to be on the safe side it's better to use up the allocated tags for each individual. which is two.

when you travel by air, you only take your hand-carry(small bag) with you into the plane yourself(after it has been scanned), your big bags, however, are carried by the airport/airline officials and are scanned or opened and searched in your absence and you only see these luggage again when you must have arrived your destination. It is at this point drugs can be planted in your luggage....very sad

For you to say people's bags are searched on their absent even when they are padlocked is a proof you never traveled by air before

Pls can you stop misleading people

That seems to be only one thing that could save Zainab. But I wonder what International Air Travel regulation says about tagged luggage that a passanger does not claim is his/her own.

Now these ones are merely stealing and they aren't even in Nigerian airports, but you can see they accessed the passengers luggage. Imagine the black hearted ones who decides like mosquitoes to deposit stuff on their way out.

Please listen more than respond.

The first video does not play but the remaining three show the same incident, and in that case the person was videoed stealing in the process of loading, that is at the port of departure, as i have said several times before.

In all my replies i have maintained that it is possible to do this from the port of departure. Yes they can easily access your bags once you've checked them in as the bags are in their custody, and out of your sight for a significant enough period of time.

But it is different at the port of entry/destination because the bags are unloaded immediately the plan lands, and taken directly to the baggage claim. The baggage is unloaded so fast that in most cases, it gets to the baggage claim even before passengers get through airport security.

What does this mean?

Petty theft is still possible upon arrival, but the chances of an unloader having all the time he or she needs to search for any particular bag and then to rummage through it without getting caught are very slim. Meaning this method is not viable for organized crime.

You have other unloaders and other airport staff present while you unload from the cargo hold, so you can't do it in front of them. The bags are then transported on a vehicle straight to the baggage claim where, again there are usually a number of people around. This method of transport would fail 90% of the time.

The process described by others is far more likely, where a separate bag with an innocent person's name tag is loaded on the plane and then surreptitiously picked by someone else at the airport.
