Hard to pick, too many legends. As a South African I will have to go with Nelson Mandela for now,the man restored sanity in our nation and we will always love him for that.I believe an African American will feel the same about Martin Luther King,it's all about how you relate with these people and how they have impacted your life. 3 Likes 1 Share |

This needs clarification. Most influential black African or most influential African American? As being influential in Africa does not make you influential in the USA. Secondly being influential in Nigeria does not mean you are revered in the Caribbean or the rest of Africa for that matter. 3 Likes 1 Share |

hansomb: A complete way of life, founded by the Arabs and based on Arabic culture and language? What nonsense. A religion that claims that Arabic is a divine and superior language because this was the language of the prophet? Tell me about equality. You see a full fledged black man drop all his unique African ancestral cultural names and aswer a name like AHMED MOHAMMED ABDULLAHI. (Purely Arabic names), is that not madness? 6 Likes |

zlantanfan: Its difficult to pick Martin Luther ahead of Mandela. I honestly don't see much difference between those two great guys. True, Luther paid the price with his life - but Mandela was also kept in isolation for 27 yrs. Also, Mandela could also have lost his life - but for fate. I think they are equal... Worthy of note... Enny2013: MJ donated about 500million dollars to charity He was regarded as the entertainer who supported the most charities by Guinness world records He broke the racial barrier on MTV and gave other black artists the opportunity to be aired on Mtv and other media He influenced many contemporary musicians.. Chris brown, Usher, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Beyonce and many more said Michael influenced them He helped children, people with disabilities etc And u came here to say who Michael jackson help? It is a shame even we the blacks are stabbing ourselves at the back. Sister, Michael helped the world to a great degree... You can take that to NTA and quote me there 3 Likes |
