Hello good people, Please I need to book flight to yyc departing next month. Any reliable website or agency? Price is of essence. Thanks |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Adunnee: 1:45pm On Apr 26, 2019 |
wengerly: Someone on another thread mentioned that it is cheaper to book through an app- Egypt air or Ethiopian Air, and it is better to fix departure dates on Wed or Thurs. You may wish to try that. https://www.nairaland.com/5031893/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/390#77853879 2 Likes 14 Shares |

I am not sure carrying yam is what the risk. I had a funny experience when I bought a talking drum. The stop and check in secondary is not a pleasant experience especially when you are on a long flight... 1 Like |

Hello, everyone. Please what is the fastest way to send money to Nigeria from Canada. Thanks |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by salford1: 9:37pm On Apr 26, 2019 |
arogun78:World remit is popular. It takes about 5min to send and receive from your phone app. There might be other transfer service though. 20 Likes 38 Shares |

salford1: Thanks. I am not in Canada but a friend of mine in Canada wants to send me some money. The person is not a Nigeria. But in Egypt, we have some Nigerians doing instant money transfer. You give them dollars and they transfer the equivalent in naira to your account. I don't know if you have them too in Canada. The person doesn't want to use western union because the money is little. please. help me find out if they do that there too and their location. Thanks |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Stencil: 10:29pm On Apr 26, 2019 |
LOL. He said 5 mins. That's instant. arogun78: |
Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by arogun78: 11:40pm On Apr 26, 2019 |
Stencil: I understand what you did there. It is not what you think. A yahoo guy will not come here to ask how to receive money. The man is a Somali. I used to tutor his children in Egypt. I am now in Nigeria and he is back in Canada. we got in touch three days ago and he decided to give me something. I think the money is,little and the charges will reduce the amount I will get. you have all the right to be suspicious because of the era we are. If you can help. please do. |

Zutlin: You have a problem. Arrogance and oversabi is one of them. But the oga patapata of it all is lack of comprehension, next time just read between the lines slooooowly. First, priority was called for those with infants there's no logical explanation to explain why they will then be told to step aside after coming forward, of course you'll know this if you've boarded flights before. Secondly, they speak Dutch in the Netherlands not in Frankfurt, Germany. And moreover, it's not your landing gist nor is it your racism so why carry this matter on your head like gala? 4 Likes |

234ng44uk: Hi, I do have a problem with hasty conclusions and in such cases, I always ask for clarity - exactly what I did and what any reasonable person should do. I'm not arrogant neither am I an oversabi. I'm an open-minded and expressive individual who's not afraid to ask if things seem unclear. Being able to express one's self without the need to throw insults is a life skill. You should learn it. Stay well. 37 Likes |

UNWRITTEN WORKPLACE RULES IN CANADA Copied!!!! Don't ask intrusive personal questions about your co-workers' personal lives or families. Do not ask "why" questions about their personal lives. "Why aren’t you married?", "Why don't you have kids?", etc. are not questions you should be asking anyone ever (they come across as incredibly rude judgmental condemnation) but on the worksite they can land you in hot water. In my experience women (I don't know if you're male or female) from some areas of Asia pride themselves on their wispy, breathy, nearly inaudibly low voice. On the worksite, though, people need to hear each other; it doesn't matter how well you enunciate or how slowly you talk, you need to have some volume to your voice. (I'll also say that the wispy voice comes across to other women as affected and childish, not feminine.) Do not evangelize in the workplace. Sex, religion, and (to some extent) politics are topics even people born and raised in this culture make mistakes over. Do not force food on other people, or try to guilt them into eating or not eating. In the same vein, do NOT talk about other people's bodies or weight. If you have an office job, don't keep a big bowl of peanuts on your desk. Do not say anything about a co-worker's pregnancy or possible pregnancy unless a) she has told you she is pregnant or b) she is actually giving birth at that exact moment. Don't discuss how much money you make, and be careful about saying how much you spend as well. How much you saved on a sale is fine, how much you spent less so. Discussing money is generally taboo. If you are looking to make a purchase or something, you can ask for advice, like "how much should rent be in my area?" but it's better to not ask directly "How much is your rent?". 31 Likes 28 Shares |

Zutlin: You're trying to be smart but clearly you're not. You clearly knew she doesn't speak "Dutch or whatever language they speak in Frankfurt" because she stated that all she heard were the English words "It's not fair". You're this "open-minded individual who's not afraid to ask if things seem unclear" but your motives are very clear, that is to discredit her while giving the White racist a full benefit of the doubt. I lived in Europe long enough to know people like you, inferior White skin worshiper. 5 Likes |
