This country is not just beautiful... it’s so peaceful... My 1 week vacation there was awesome ... I even forgot my items in the trunk of a taxi after some shopping .... I was stupidly running after the cab when I remembered but cldnt get him to stop... I didn’t even get his plae number or taxi number. Another taxi driver told me to call their taxi company which I did and gave decrisption on where I entered, where I dropped, how much I paid and within 2 hours, they called back that they reached the driver and the driver will come give me back the item... they also gave me his number to call him ... He came to give me the items and I paid for the trip made ... Story would have been different if it’s Nigeria ... The items are gone for good 6 Likes |

Our Nigerian leaders only use leg during campaign and even at that, they will first block all the roads. |

cr7lomo: You are so IGNORANT AND THOUGHTLESS. You are looking at AFRICA, where we actually have 4/5ths of the 54 countries that are PRACTISING DEMOCRACIES, with REGULAR ELECTIONS, and the RULE OF LAW enshrined in their CONSTITUTIONS. With freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom of religion, all part and parcel of the continent from Kenya to Nigeria, from Ghana to Ivory Coast, from South Africa to Ethiopia, from Senegal to Rwanda, and from Uganda to Malawi, Africa is for the most part, FREE. Then you look at UAE, aka the ARAB WORLD, with NEAR ZERO DEMOCRACY. WITH WIDESPREAD DICTATORSHIP, SUPPRESSION OF DISSENT, RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION, IMPRISONMENT OF DISSIDENTS, SUBJUGATION AND OPPRESSION OF WOMEN (Saudi only just recently allowed them to drive cars), SHARIA LAW, WITH AMPUTATIONS FOR STEALING A LOAF OF BREAD, VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM, plus MASSIVE CORRUPTION ONLY MITIGATED BY THE HUGE OIL WEALTH OF TINY POPULATIONS, AS ARAB ''OIL SHEIKHS'' BUY UP THE CHOICEST PROPERTIES IN EUROPE AND THE US, WITH BILLIONS DECREED BY LAW INTO THEIR PRIVATE ACCOUNTS... You look at all this and conclude that it is BLACKS that ''control their people like puppets'' etc etc. ALL BECAUSE you saw some ''leader of Dubai'' or whatever you call him stopping his car at a traffic light with cameras conveniently at hand to snap him. IS THAT REALLY ALL IT TAKES TO FOOL YOU PEOPLE? TRAGIC. How shameless can you be? 3 Likes |

Ttipsy: How the hell do you know that? What if some governor feels like stepping out at night privately on his own in his Jeep, or you think it doesn't happen? And then he reaches a red light. Why won't he stop if the area is safe to stop? I MEAN, YOU PEOPLE ARE RIDICULOUS. Just because this Sheikh whatever-his-name-is in Dubai did his own before cameras, to pose as a ''common man'' while holding billions of dollars in his Swiss account, you MOR.ONS are here jive talking shiit like a bunch of fcking coons! Tell me, why do you people that are always so smart when facing each other, especially in these your stupid ethnic fights, suddenly turn into mumus whenever white or yellow people are involved? You just turn DUMB. So easy to fool and impress like a bunch of fcking nitwits. I just checked his net worth on Google, and the guy is worth an amazing 18 BILLION US DOLLARS. He's richer than Dangote by 6 billion dollars! Where did he get such a huge amount of money? I researched him and all I saw was ''he owns this, he started this company, he owns that conglomerate''. But no information on what he did to get so much money. This is the person you DULLARDS are hailing here as this upright, decent, honest, humble, modest, God-fearing mayor of Dubai. Because he stopped at traffic lights with cameras flashing. KAI....UNA MUMU DEY WEAR CAP, CARRY WALKING STICK. 5 Likes |

planetx: True. it's very depressing. It's not a coincidence Nigerians are the world's foremost skin bleachers, to the point Fela had to write a song about it decades ago, to little avail. I suspect it may be spiritual bondage afflicting them to be honest. It seems divine intervention alone can save them, and make them feel equal to all men. Thought creates reality, something most of them don't realise. They don't understand that it's only when they feel equal to all men that they will in fact BECOME equal to all men, both in thought and in action, as a people. That that feeling of fundamental equality is what will PROPEL them to achieve great things as a people. It is the feeling of inferiority that actually holds them back, and breeds mediocrity and failure, since thought creates reality. If as a people you believe you are inferior, always raising foreigners above yourselves, you will manifest that inferiority in real life. As a people. It's the law of the universe. 1 Like |

French President Emmanuel Macron said: "With a family that has seven, eight children in Africa, invest billions, nothing will change. (...) The challenge of Africa is civilizational. "The Guinean sociologist Amadou Douno, a professor at the Ahmadou-Dieng University of Conakry, answers him. "Africans do not need your debauchery civilization. Because with your civilization: a man can sleep with a man; a woman can sleep with a woman; a single president can have two mistresses at a time; a woman can sleep with her dog; a child can insult his father and mother without problem; a child can imprison his parents. " "With your civilization, when parents are getting older, they are taken to the retirement home, and finally, with your civilization, a young man can live with a woman who is his mother's age or his grandma without problem. Your case is a perfect illustration! Africans have no civilization lesson to receive from people like you! Africa is by far the richest continent in the world with its enormous mineral wealth. What is delaying this continent is the large-scale pillage of its resources by the great powers, France in the lead!” "All the misery of Africa comes from this country that realizes its ambitions on the backs of Africans, with the complicity of these traitors who do not hesitate to sacrifice entire generations by delivering their countries to the former colonizing power. They entrust all the key sectors of their economies to France. In reality, they lead the political strategy or vision desired by the former settler. This contributes to driving their populations into misery and extreme poverty. This is the cause of coups d'état, civil wars, genocides, famines, with despots at the head of these countries that are kept in power by France, because it meets all their requirements! "France is nothing without Africa! The day the African countries turn their backs on France, this country will plunge into chaos! As long as African countries do not abandon this domination of the former colonial power, by taking charge of their own destiny, as the Asian countries have done, it will be very difficult for them to get out of the abyss. The challenge for Africa is to get rid of France. Because the latter is not the solution to its underdevelopment, it is at the heart of the problem!" #Copied 1 Like |

Murtala Mohammed did that and was shot dead in broad day light 500 metres from his office. The Emirates is a stable, homogenous society with ancient antecedents. It cannot be compared to fractured multi ethnic, multi religous society such as ours with great social, political and economic chasms. It is not a Nigerian thing alone. Societies where such exist will have leadership always on tenther hooks. The POTUS will never be able to try that either because America suffers from the same issues. As Europe embraces multi ethnicity and religious liberalism it too will have leadership constrains and you will begin to see similar emerge. The forces required to gel society are inversely proprortional to the peace leadership is expected to experience. If Nigerians want to see this then the average Nigerian should be prepared to hide his religion and denounce his tribal inclination.... and of course love his neighbour as himself.... something you reading this know is just impossible. So this can never happen in Nigeria.... ever. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Empiree: Nonsense talk by Mr. Amadou. Less than half of Africa is under French influence yet the other liberal and free half is no better. The United Kingdom gave us Nigeria independence and walked away. Nigeria has been on a steady decline in all indices of life and living ever since. South Africa got its independence two decades ago and has been struggling to keep its head above water. Most of the biases Mr Amadou has borders on culture and religion which in developed societies is taken as personal preference and conviction but in Africa and other dark continents this is projected and imposed on society often with violent and catastrophic consequences. A classic example is the Boko Haram insurgency which will not happen in France but in Mali or Nigeria the proponents who refuse western education want us ALL to partake in that ideology or die resisting. This is the problem in Africa. Nobody minds his business. Mr Amadou makes it look like marrying older folks or same sex coupling or dumping your aged parents in care homes is state policy, which is not. If Africa was that good, the caravans of emigrants would be heading in the opposite direction. Clearly something is wrong in Africa and with the black man and he should research that instead. He should investigate what makes us so vulnerable to extreme ideologies, what makes us so unsuccessful collectively, and then what makes us recurrent prey to the likes of the British, French, Germans and Portugese in the past and the Chinese today and tomorrow. To blame the misfortunes of the prey solely on the predator is simplistic, infantile thinking. Nature in all its glory begets that battle. |

planetx: So to back up your lame points, you attack the Sheik and question his wealth, that’s very laughable and illogical to the issue at hand. How much of Dubai stolen money (capital flight) is in Nigeria, now ask yourself how much of Africa’s stolen money is in Dubai? What does bn inferior have to do with seeing a leader of a country obey basic laws.? You raised shallow and pathetic points that don’t add up in any way shape or form. What the Sheiks vision has provided the poor man in Dubai is all we’ve bn asking our leaders for in the last 30 plus years with no answer, an enabling environment to do the right things SIMPLE |

HazzanTazzan: That is A TAXI driver, not the President/Sheikh.... but here we all expect leadership to MAKE US like that. The average citizen of this country thinks Nigeria is like this because of the 20 or so Presidents/HOS's that have ruled since independence. And I sit back and wonder how 20 men could have such a powerful influence on the 300 million or so folks that have existed on this soil since 1960. The day we wake up and shirk this lie.... and get together to start building the kind of society we desire.... |
