E hailing business with their "Suffering and Smiling" fares. After driving for 40KM and 1hour in this Lagos. MM2 to Lekki Phase 1. Fare (Taxify ) 3,500 Less toll fees ( Airport and Lekki ) 400 Less commission 465 Actual income earned N2,635 How then do we factor in cost of fuel, wear and tear etc. E hailing fares are just ridiculous. For how long will my people continue with this? 9 Likes 2 Shares

The devil is in the details. National Stadium Surulere to Redeemed Camp is the same distance as MM2 to Lekki Phase 1. Will you accept N2,635 from National Stadium Surulere to RCCG Camp? 3 Likes 1 Share

iyaegin:What taxify is using to deceive drivers is by showing you the gross earnings on a trip, You should be only concerned about what your gain is after a trip. I am sure that your spirit won't be that elated if your were shown your actual income (2,635) on that said trip. 4 Likes |

tunlapapa: Well! I think its better, I have done airport to lekki on uber 2500 including toll... But lately taxify have been so bad and their fare is not stable, they frustrated me yesterday. I got a 1.4 surge from Jacob & Mew estate, while positioning in railway compound, raider was going to Ikeja... I rush down and beat all traffic just because of the surge, only to get to destination to see 1700 naira. As if that wasn't enough got a trip to Berger from their and I spent 1hr on the dot on that trip, only to see 1000, while my fuel has already blink empty. I have been swearing for dem since yesterday. Note: I think island fare is not the same as mainland, just thinking... I did admiralty way from farmcity to the end of admiralty way with a stop ard forte oil 1200 naira, the raider called after alighting to confam price again. 3 Likes |

The reason according to them in 2017. "Decreasing the fares should get more people requesting more rides with Uber, which leads to drivers spending more time with paying riders and standing a chance to earn the same or more!" Are we earning same or more in 2019? 1 Like |

Please i need experts in the house to help me with these error codes for my Honda crv 2004 2.4litre i-vtec: 1. P0011 vtc system malfunction 2. P1167 h2os s1 failure 3. P0453 evap ftp high input 4. P1077 imrc valve s... short The reason for the trailing dots in the 4th listed code description is because the print out was poor and that word wasn't clear enough. Low on cash at the moment, will be grateful if you can recommend on which two to fix first. Additionally, I have a throttle body that my mech has advised me to change because of my cars unstable rpm and vibration when I put on the ac when car is idling. The throttle body in my car is the double type. Apart from the throttle cable, the other cable which one mechanic called the cruise control cable hangs loose. Appreciate in advance what the experts in the house have to say. Thanks. |

mrsage: Yes. Since I join Uber January 2019, I have been doing well and earning well. I have been paying my 35k rent, with no story. Been with the same car for almost 5 months. I think Uber has given me a great opportunity. I have stop listening to negative comments about slavery this, slavery that. 9 Likes

Has anyone paid for Bolt's Drivers' insurance. They say it's mandatory now. I didn't know it was voluntary when I registered as a driver in their office last year...they just scammed me with 8k. 1 Like
