Pls how do i convince my friend to desist from his intending action.

My friend confided in me not to tell his wife...he wants to donate his kidney for his ex..who will be having kidney transplant in india by second weak of may...the said ex is a divorcee with 2kids...i believe he was still seeing her even while married..although he never told me about it. He said he wil divorce his wife..(both hav issues but still living togeda) that after d surgery if they both make it he will marry her and settle in another state...
Am confused as to why he will take such rash decision..i feel for d wife who has gone through a lot for him...even though d wife hasnt been able to give him a child..after 4yrs of marriage..
For d guys can u take up such risk and sacrifice?.
For the ladies what will u do if u are d wife and happen to find out?
Meanwhile he told me he will be traveling with her to lagos on thursday bfor the take off to india!!!

This is by far one of the most twisted posts I've read on nairaland.

Unfortunately, there is little you can do to convince that man not to embark on such a potentially disastrous journey. He's hellbent on seeing that move through.

However, as a good friend that you are, let him know he's making a betrayal move. Be honest with him that he's not being fair to his wife and himself and might suffer the consequences eventually.

Something tells me he might be the father of the kids by his ex.

Tell your friend that he is a very stupid fellow, he is crazily mad, he has supernatural madness.
On a serious note, I advise you tell his wife about his plans, so she knows how to take the matter up with his family members, if the said ex was so loving to him, she wouldn't have allowed him to marry another woman, I know your friend is a carefree type and doesn't want to exhaust his energy on making his marriage work, marriage is about compromise, patience and faithfulness, ask him why he wants to divorce his wife and make him see reasons why he should try his possible best to try and make it work, no woman is perfect they have all got flaws, what his wife has his ex may lack and vice versa.

About his wife not been able to have children, they should try see a doctor examine them, you can never tell what the problem is, could just be that they haven't been taking the right steps in copulation.

If the narrative above were to be a comprehension passage, that's how you would have failed woefully cos you lack basic comprehension skills.

*There was nowhere in the post that it was suggested or implied that the wife's infertility is as a result of multiple abortions or reckless living.

* It's also a mere speculation that the ex's two kids might belong to the man. The OP never even suggested this.

To this end I wonder what forms the basis of your comment. Or might be you're trying hard to be a troll?

OP should just look for a way to kidnap him or do anything possible to stop him from traveling.
The man is not in his senses at the moment.

If you love your friend, confide in a policeman, give them money if necessary to fake a house arrest on him for awhile since you already know his travel plans and date. Again, it depends on how far you are willing to go for your friend.

i pointed this out to him...but he told me they love each other and they hav made arrangement to hav a court marriage in lagos before travelinv

quite harsh on her...she is wonderful lady..although she is much more older than him with about 11years....the lady ex hubby is d father of d kids not my friend..

The only person I can donate my kidney for is my child. Even my parents if in condition of kidney failure would not accept any of their child donates for them.
