swaggerkid: Bless up bro, some people are using yahoo boys to remain relevant. Have you ever seen CNN showing any of the slums in America. In Italy the workers pays half of their salaries as tax or close to half. Have you heard any of the media houses carrying it? No way. But in Nigeria we've so many Daft people claiming they're wise. We're too LOUD.. From the yahoo boys to the media houses and the citizens washing their linen outside. The way Americans castigate Russia of being Evil if Russians had embraced the criticism, I think nobody will be doing business with them. But in Nigeria inferiority complex has eaten deep to the extent where by we wait for the International community to determine our fate. FBI should go to Russia and Arrest the people who hacked their 2016 election. 2 Likes |

its the way naija parents bring up their kids that causes all these problems. growing up, my parents taught me how to behave when i walk out of the house because a good character boost the image of you yourself and that of your family but most nigerians i know exhibit bad behaviours and bad vices even in foreign lands, from prostitution to frauding and drugs. how then do u expect other countries to have a positive view of you people? its not about your government, the problem is its citizens 1 Like |

Nigeria is just a piece of land with trees mountains and rivers situated in it. Nigeria is not the problem, the problem is the people, we Nigerians living in it, we all blame our leaders that they have failed, but don't forget they were selected from amongst us!!! it is a collective effort of all of us!!! thinks about the forefathers the Nnamdi Azikiwes, the Tafawa Balewas, the Obafemi Awolowos, #GodblessNigeria!!!! 1 Like |

I know Nigerians as usual will come for their leader's heads for this statement, forgetting leadership is a reflection of people. A country where youth cannot coexist in anything is a failed country, how can Nigeria be better when the youth are busy hating, beefing, and victimizing one another? maybe they think the development of a country comes by a miracle without the contribution of the citizens or working together of the youth? I know most of the people on this thread have done one or two things in their own capacity to damage the image of this country or to incapacitate other Nigerians, but they are quick to blame their government when things go wrong. it is an unenviable task to try to talk to uncivilized people about the development of a country. 1 Like |

Who made Afghanistan, Syria and Libya a failed state Big fool like you, not everyone living in Nigeria is suffering mind you. Some people still make may more in Nigeria more than you living outside the country. Leave Nairaland, your family and adopt fully to where you're at the moment. Big poo like you. Are we the only corrupt country in the world? Of course, the answer is no! It is the way we portray ourselves everywhere even on social media. We still have nice, good and intelligent people in Nigeria, our Pastors have travelled to various countries worldwide to preach the gospel yet we are still labelled as corrupt. Other countries are also bad but the way we do it here In Nigeria is terrible. Let's begin to magnify good things about Nigeria more than the bad things. |

lukui: Why do you guys keep saying God bless Nigeria? Are you not seeing how bad the country keeps getting. Most Nigerians wanna flee but they are trapped due to poverty. It seems most of you who still have hope in the country are enjoying something we don't know. |
