AIICO management is still going ahead with the proposed private placement which will rob retail shareholders. the management is simply asking the shareholders sign away a portion of their assets to other people. The Nigerian investor is at the mercy of company boards. Some thing must be done about this. NEM wanted to do this but were stopped at the court by interested parties. Such a judgement could be easily applied in this case to stop AIICO from this special private placement. |

Value investing 70 years on Can you still invest like Benjamin Graham? An article from the investing world https://www.moneyweb.co.za/investing/value-investing-70-years-on/ So you could say that everything has changed since Benjamin Graham. Only one thing hasn’t changed, which is market participants are just as greedy and just as fearful as they’ve always been – and that is what drives markets.” 4 Likes |

CardinalStone wants to make life difficult for me. So I sent my e-dividend mandate via my bank to them. I followed with a mail to be sure they got it. Now they are asking for specimen signature. The last time I had this same issue with Afriprud and United securities registrars, I stayed over a year without getting my dividend even when the supposed specimen signature was sent. How do I boycott this tedious step and still get my dividend as at when die?. I need the tashere FCMB money. |

PharmAlfred: The process shouldnt be that long now, once you provide them with necessary documents. Cardinal Stone is trying to frustrate people but maybe you have to keep disturbing them. You got to the signature specimen already, I dont think there's any shortcut again than to follow the already started process through. 1 Like |

Mcy56: Thank you. The e-dividend form I submitted has my BVN on it. I don't know what they want again. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 9:33pm On Apr 28, 2019 |
PharmAlfred:I wondered why they can't just use BVN too. It's all of them but don't give up. Pursue the transfer form with your broker, request for lodgement copy from them so you can forward it to cardinal stone and they in turn can use it to track original copy with CSCS. Keep following up with them. All these processes is just non.sen.se. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Coolcash1: 4:43am On Apr 29, 2019 |
Mcy56: I concur with the bolded...It's a tedious and unnecessary way of frustrating investors. Perhaps its strategy to make them give up on the process and not follow through on their benefits...Like you said, patience is the key. Plan to follow up with united securities on my Diamond cash consideration this am and feed the house back... |

PharmAlfred: Either you request for a transfer form from your broker or you visit your bank and get the signature specimen. Once the signature specimen has been gotten take it to their office or you send via courier services . I did mine last week ,your bank may charge you a token for it . 1 Like |
