investnow2013: To be honest, I hate this nonsense. When all these Private/Missionary Universities are completed, how many students will attend them? A private university recently conducted its convocation for 100 graduates. 100 graduates? Like Seriously? What kind of Uni is that na? After seeing that stupid dilapidated Madonna University in Okija, I just pray these new universities will not end up like that in the next 10 years. Thank God its not the Anambra state's government that is embarking on this wasteful venture of creating Universities up and down. Even if we are to get new institutions, they should be strictly for Practical studies not just about creating Universities that offer tens of courses and produce half baked graduates. Just as we the Chukwuemeka Odumegbu Ojukwu Teaching Hosipal, the plan of any reasonable government or private investor should be to create institutions of Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Art Sciences etc strictly for Practical purposes and have a good cooperation with the already existing Universities so that our graduates will no longer be half baked graduates. If the existing Universities are not large enough to admit the large population of Jambites, we should be focusing more on expanding them. Like I said earlier, thank God the state's government is not behind these new universities to be created. I just dey imagine the loss, the small number of students and the cumbersome school fees of these new universities. 2 Likes |

MXr8p: I can bet my last kobo that electronics engineering graduates from 90% of the private and government universities in Nigeria can't do what these children are doing here in Edufun Techniks because, they are all half baked graduates without practical education. Edufun Technik is best suited to establish a large institute and come together with UNIZIK and Anambra state's Uni to provide practical studies on hardware programming. 4 Likes |

raker300:This is my neighborhood at Iyiowa Odekpe, this area is called Odo -Rubber because of the massive rubber plantation there before development. the tiny lake at the background is called Dreamlake, there is resort there but poor management killed it. I grew up here and it pains me that Anambra State government is too myopic to see the tourism potentials of this place. 4 Likes |

ChimaAdeoye: Oga m, always a pleasure to hear your voice. Biko ewena iwe. Hapu umu afonja. Their new orgy is to attack other Igbos in their silly desire to cause Igbos to do e-war and supply them with bad pictures that they can be using, since they are either too lazy or too poor to travel. Except for a few kids, that strategy has totally failed as many of our people simply ignored them and don't even read posts from certain monikers. Many of our people also report some of their comments which leads to its removal and there is this single guy that continues replying to himself with different monikers. Talk about madness. I'm glad our people have got to the extent of ignoring afonjas gimmicks who are here masquerading as Igbos or Anambra citizens. Out of frustration, they now open their own threads that again are roundly ignored. Biko, don't waste time responding to rodents. They are so bitter and they will continue to be frustrated living in such an evil Nigeria which they helped to create thinking they were doing others. 6 Likes |

omadeltason:You have just exposed your illiteracy going by the admission you made. You could have simply researched before coming here to display your foolishness. Let me educate you on your imaginary mother's hometown. 1 Umunze and Eziagu are separate communities although the both communities are in orumba south local government area. There is nothing like umunze in eziagu village. 2 Umunze consists of the following villages namely: Nsogwu, ugwuano, lawmu, ozara ururo and amuda. 3 Eziagu community which is a few kilometres away from umunze consists of the following villages: Amuhia, omumuoji, amoba, umueleke, obeagu, amokwe and obululo. Osagyefo98:By falling for his Web of lies it's clear that you are not from Anambra state. An Anambra man including those that were not privileged to attain higher education is somebody that cannot be easily fooled by any miscreant. This great attribute of the Anambra man is what distinguishes him from every other person. In addition it attracts hatred and enmity from our neighbours. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Anambra - Born Ernest Ezeajughi Elected Mayor Of London Borough Of Brent, United Kingdom A Nigerian, Ernest Ezeajughi, has made history by winning election as the first Black Mayor of the London Borough of Brent, United Kingdom. Ezeajughi, a native of Anambra State, was elected Mayor on the April 16, 2019 by the College of Councillors of Brent, London, and is scheduled to be sworn into office today, Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Prior to his election as Mayor, Ezeajughi, a strong member of the Labour Party, won election for a Councillor position representing Stonebridge ward at Brent Council in 2014. He was re-elected again in 2018, retaining his seat all in the white-dominated political environment after a very keenly contested election. He was elected Deputy Mayor of Brent within a year. Born in Awgbu Town, in Orumba North, Anambra State, Ezeajughi had his primary, secondary and tertiary education in Anambra. He attended Aguata High School, Aguata, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he studied Applied Microbiology. Ezeajughi was actively involved in student union politics, representing the departmental student union body. After graduation in 1998 and completion of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), he worked briefly in the private family business – Koval Linkworld Agencies Ltd – before migrating to England to join his wife. In England, Ezeajughi obtained a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc) from the prestigious Kings College, London. A Scientist by profession, he worked with Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). A father of four children, Ezeajughi was one of the founding fathers of a major Nigerian political party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) UK Chapter and was the Chairman in 2010-2012. He thereafter joined UK politics and soon became a strong member of the Labour Party. https://www.blueprint.ng/historic-nigerian-emerges-as-mayor-in-uk/ 4 Likes
