Please can anyone who has a car being driven by a uber/taxify driver share his or her experience. Has he break even since the driver since started driving his car.

The reason for this question is I was advised against giving out my car to anyone for Uber because the car may be run at a loss.

I want to bring issues to our attention ( partners & drivers).
For Drivers:
Please always verify the genuineness of the vehicle license plate and other car documents before accepting any car. Go to:
https://nvis.frsc.gov.ng/NumberPlateVerification.aspx
Or the state VIO office to verify.
Some of the cars are stolen. FRSC will apprehend & fine you while Police/SARS will make a living off you. Also insist on comprehensive insurance and car security/trackers. They are cheaper than the problems that arise from a stolen car.

For Car owners
Please properly register your vehicles. Renew expired documents and keep the original. Properly insure your vehicles and install security and trackers. Also carry out back ground checks on your drivers.

A lot of drivers/car owners are not sincere. So be cautious.

I think it not fair cos he (the driver) makes more money on weekends which is Friday, Saturday and Sundays more than weekdays cos people move around in lagos alot on weekends, am a driver on the platform so i know what am saying.
Basically on weekdays i don't get upto 5 requests... Bt im always looking forward to weekends starting from Friday evening cos people want to go for clubbing and all that, Saturdays are also for weddings and other functions and Sundays people wanna go for outings after church, they are much ride request in major and popular areas... Shopping mall, cinemas, bars and restaurants, sometimes I even have to go offline to rest.

I hope you get my point, Sir. The driver complains to me that 30k is no longer realisable weekly. Now I reduced to 25k but the only condition I gave him is he won't work on Sundays. Sunday is when I use the car to church. If he needs the car on Sundays, for me to sacrifice that day, I will have to return back to 30k weekly. Pls hope that is fair enough and I believe 30k is achievable on Taxify? Pls I need experience people on this to help out truthfully. Thanks
