.

you obviously did not watch the game. Ndidi was the best player on the pitch at halftime according to whoscored . He was rated 7.4 after half time. He was hurled off for tactical reasons. Leicester needed more body upfront because they had a man advantage and also the coach was not gonna take chances leaving Ndidi on d pitch because he(Ndidi) was booked in d first half

Despite spending only forty five minutes on the King Power Stadium turf, Ndidi racked up a game-high six tackles and also had a joint game-high two interceptions.

Defensively Ndidi was brilliant but we can not deny that without Ndidi in the set-up, Leicester City was far deadlier. Rodgers is a possessive-offensive manager and it showed in this game but most especially in the second half.

Ndidi needs to find away to be a key part of the set-up when they are playing in a very offensive fashion.

Statistically, Hamza Choudhury had the most accurate passing percentage of 97, over Ndidi's 92%. Although Ndidi managed to make just 26 passes which is a higher rate per minute than Choudhury who had a total of 47 passes.

Meaning passing wise, Ndidi and Choudhury were doing about the same thing but Choudhury was more efficient with the ball.

Keep in mind also the amount of possession Leicester City had. In such circumstance, the defensive side of the game in the dmf is not as important as the efficient build up plays.

Ndidi needs to work on the passing side of the game, study Gundogan's ball distribution ideas to stay ahead of the pack.

I think Rodgers was not playing to the press and explaining why Ndidi was the logical choice to take off. The team wanted to be more aggressive and Ndidi was also on a yellow.

So coupled with his limited distribution ability and a card, he was the best tactically to take off.

Do you really know how to watch football? Hahahaha!

What an average comment as usual. grin

This is a man who has appeared in only 17 la Liga games this far.

1 goal.

No assists.

Has only started 23% of the time.

Like several other Nigerian players in Europe, he has just been bang average this season. I truly wish the best for him.

Rodgers talked about taking Ndidi off because of yellow card(in that report) which is not true

I've found out that Rodgers plays to the press a lot, in a recent interview he was asked about his plans for his squad
He said his job was to provide an enabling environment for his youngsters to develop, except those who don't want to develop he never wanted those anyway

A tongue in cheek way of saying he is going to offload players by the end of the season

I expect him to offload players but at Liverpool, I think the transfer market was his weak point and I hope he makes the right choices this time. If he can get the right players, with his tactical acumen, he will excel.

However, I think the explanation of why he took Ndidi was precise and there was no need to sugar-coat anything.

Would they have been deadlier if Arsenal had 11 men on the pitch?? Would the coach have removed Ndidi if Arsenal were still 11 on the pitch?? There are nuances to this stuff,, yalls just saying he must find a way to be a part of the setup like he's totally useless despite having game highs in 45mins..

After the red card, Leicester City were not close to how they were in the second half even though Arsenal was a man down.

However, with Tielemans tucking in and Barnes coming in, they were meant to be more aggressive. However, tactically, Ndidi would be a draw back in such situation due to his limited build-up plays.

In 36 games, he has only 8 yellows.. Your claim that he gets a yellow every game is far off the mark.

Ndidi is generally a clean player.

I asked a straightforward question and instead of a straightforward answer, it was still Ndidi's limited buildup yen yen that you gave as answer. Well done sah.

Would the coach have removed him if Arsenal were still 11 on the field despite his supposed weakness?? Be playing down the nigga's strength while over emphasizing his weakness.

That's off what we're saying but I expected Ndidi being a tough tackler to have a higher number of yellows

You expected with no verification. Ndidi generally wins a large percentage of tackles so he does not foul as much.

Another average analyses.

Levante used 3-4-1-2 formation mostly this season. I don't need to explain about the circumstances.

Be more objective and trustful, and stop peddling half truth.

Nevertheless, I am not insinuating that Moses is having a wonderful season but be a little bit objective.

As much I dont wanna blacklist Manu Garba, I think Forgiveness aint entirely wrong, after all. Manu aint as clean as he seems. There is more to his selections and matchday squads than meets the eye. How does one explain his decision to sideline Adrian Akande after spending alot to get him all the way from England? Why does he not have players from the South East, Delta and Edo in his squad?

people argue like there's an award for the best 'arguer' I find it laughable that some people think the coach is lying just because it's against their own narrative, why would it be hard for Rodgers to say 'I had to take him off and bring in an attacker so we could pile more pressure on arsenal as they have been weakened by a red card'? people just like to argue without any reason

I made it very clear that even with the red card, Leicester City were not offensive enough and my fear is that when they took Ndidi off, they played better.

With or without the red card, there is a possibility Ndidi would have been taking off if they wanted to play in a more aggressive fashion.

I wonder how a straight answer would be at play here.

Good, so tell me, how would u know there were no better players since he decided to limit his scouting to Lagos? What happened to his 2013 format that birthed our best U17 crop? U dont expect a poor 15/16year old kid from Akwa Ibom, Enugu, PH, Owerri, Aba, Asaba, Umuahia, Onitsha etc to embark on a journey to far away Lagos, do you? U know the cost, the dangers and all. Last time Manu tested success he had camps in almost all the 6goeoolotical zones for proximity purpose, hence giving every kid a chance. How many Academies did he visit outside Lagos abi Nigeria revolves around Lagos? Mind u dis isnt about tribe or religion buh, zone, hence even the Igbo/igboid names u see on his list were not brought up in the SE buh Lagos and its environs. He picked most of his players from Lagos Academies and I even read an Academy has about five of their players in that team. This aint just laziness, Manu is on something. Bros there are cities in Nigeria that u dont joke with bkus they are always there to provide us with abundant quality talents; Jos, Owerri, Enugu, Asaba, Benin, Lagos, Kaduna are the primary cities, hence they deserve some sort of special attentions. From history, naijas best talents have always come from these cities, no disrespect to other cities.

That aside, how do u xplain the treatment he meted on a boy who left a tourney with England u16 for this AYC? Bkus Manu knew there would be no money to make on him, he decided to bench him to display his boys to the scouts for his own selfish interests, knowing full well that we are on a heated battle with the English FA for his services. Not even a minute of a game time to captie him and give him that Sense of belonging.

Golden Eaglets Coaches In The Bad Books Of NFF Over Treatment Of Chelsea Starlet

We understand that the Nigeria U17 coaches led by Manu Garba have incurred the wrath of Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick and Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi after they decided not to hand minutes to Adrian Akande at the 2019 U17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Chelsea wonderkid is courted by the English Football Association and was called up to their U16 team for the recently concluded Montaigu Tournament but was advised by his father to reject the invitation.
Pinnick is believed to be in the possession of the winger's invitation letter sent by the English FA and also played a key role in the player rejecting the advances of his country of birth.

The Golden Eaglets coaches have not hidden the fact that Akande is talented and remains in contention for a World Cup roster spot and have explained that he was not fielded in the ceremonial third place playoff against Angola because he's number 21 in the pecking order of players taken to Tanzania.

They also said that they wanted to win the third place playoff to appease Nigerians, hence the need to play a strong squad in yesterday's game.

Though Akande is being backed by Pinnick and Akinwunmi, Manu's godfather in the Nigerian Federation, Shehu Dikko, who is the chairman of the League Management Company Limited (LMC), was not in support of the player making the 21-man roster.

Dikko personally ran the rule over Akande at the FIFA Goal Project before the team's departure for Tanzania and wanted him to be replaced but was overridden by his superiors, Pinnick and Akinwunmi.
