A lot of scenes in this episode were largely underwhelming, Jon and Dany biggest culprits. Riding around on the dragons and achieving almost fůck all, that was just unnecessary.

Theon and Jorah were by far the biggest players of the night. Arya ended it all, yes, but the way and manner she did was far too easy and somewhat impractical.

Like how did Arya get past like ten thousand wights and just jump out of nowhere without the night king and his White Walkers noticing? That's shitty writing and a very anticlimactic end to a storyline line that I thought had more. I mean, what about the Azor Ahai prophesy? The Prince of the dawn? All the build up to this battle and all we get is this underwhelming ending. Honestly I'm not even all that motivated to watch the next episode.

Also how is Sam not dead? I could swear I saw him swarmed by at least 10 wights. There are so many characters that should have died in that battle that just miraculously survived. Jaime, Brienne and Gendry should be dead. If the writers wanted them to survive then they shouldn't have put them in those practically inescapable situations.

The way some of you come here to post rubbish is legendary.
Its simple to notice from the series that no one could defeat the Night King in a one-on-one combat, the dude is so strong that his blow or kick weighs over 1000lb and he's hardly seen alone, thats why a plan was devised to lure him to the open using Bran as a bait.
A good General would do exactly what he did against Jon Snow. Jon was not his primary target and he has d powers to raise more soldiers to finish the remaining living.
Jon hard to be rescued anyway possible and even if it had to be by the weak Samwell or even a dead soldier so the prophecy can come to pass.
From the above, you will have to agree that there's only one person in Winterfell who has the skills to defeat NK. You will notice NK was killed by the experience of a trained killer. She dropd d knife to a hand he

I want to disagree with you on the battle scenes. It was dead in the night, what do u expect? U think it's easy to shoot a battle scene for close to 1hour without getting the audience bored?

This is the most over hype episode concerning battle in this series, the battle of the bastard stands out among all, why couldn't they shoot this episode in daylight just like they did at hardhome, no grab of what the three dragons were doing up there, even the battle between dragon mother and Jaime together with lord Tarly is better than this, perhaps they will make it up in the battle between Cerci and Danerys for the throne. The only thing in this episode is fright and fear. Not what I expected, I even enjoyed the battle at castle black between watchers and wildlings better than this.

So why didn't we get to see when she killed a White Walker and wear his face? And how did she even kill a White Walker when all of them were close together and walking side by side, making it so that to kill one you have to face all. And let's stop all this bullshit about Arya wearing the face of a White Walker. We know that to get a person's face she needs to tear it off. When wights or White Walkers die, they break into pieces, hence no face to peel off. Also, if Arya killed a WW we would have seen seen a lot of wights who he turned exploding to pieces.

good point, the producers should tell us how she got there cos the killing is damn too simple for a character like night king, the NK ought to be destroyed but not that easy and simple.

he was nt weak.. You should have known that he fears fire.. The scar in his face was as a result of fire when he was young ever since then he becomes weak/scared when he sees fire.
