Manu Garba has provided good U17 football teams for us over the years and we haven't really heard any complaints...until this competition.
Now he is corrupt, looking for egunje, lazy, refusing to screen in all the 36 states, refusing to carry players from the SE and SS, has a godfather, has a preference for players born in Nigeria, etc. It's basically open season on Manu Garba.

First of all, camp opened late so there was no time for open screening. According to the link below, Manu and his assistants were ready to start but the NFF delayed them.

http://owngoalnigeria.com/2018/02/15/manu-garba-speaks-on-chances-of-nigerian-players-born-abroad-making-his-u17-team-open-screening/

Someone said that Manu only considered players in Lagos and can you really blame him? If you needed a good sample size and you had to pick one location where you could see a good representation of young Nigerians you'd probably pick Lagos too.
Think about it, Lagos is the most populated state and it is home to a good number of Nigerians from different parts of Nigeria.

Imo, most of these complaints started when Lateef was dropped. Most people only waited until they coild get to the point where they could say, "I told you so."
But how many of you actually watched the screening? How many of you watched them in camp? The fact that someone is more popular does not make him a better player than someone whose skills/efforts have gone unnoticed.

I'm sorry but the whole godfather thing makes no sense to me. To begin with, it's two against one. Secondly, Pinick is the boss here. And finally, why are we just hearing about it? Manu has been the U17 coach for a number of years and no one has complained of this until today. We didn't even hear of this when Manu coached the U20 side and benched Iheanacho and co.

Someone even said that maybe Manu's scouts are here that is why people are supporting evil. People have the right to support who they want. That you think Manu did wrong does not mean that others share your opinion. It does not mean that Manu even did wrong.

Don't get me wrong, Manu Garba is not perfect and he is not above criticism but that criticism needs to be fair and constructive. Many things said here can easily be verified by people in the know or by interviews we have access to. The fact that we are upset does not give us the right to throw unsubstantiated accusations around. If you are going to go on about how evil Manu is, do your due diligence and back it up with proof. You don't get to accuse others of whatever you like because they see or do things differently.

Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. You, me, and yes, Manu Garba.
Very brilliant analysis. You are a true gem. I have been smiling at the accusations and just skipped the arguments. One even went as far as labelling someone supporting evil. The forum has started losing focus as everyone wants to win arguments and we don't even respect opinions. Stop the accusations if you do not have verified facts. Stop tarnishing images. It is not fair

English FA always not giving man city players Pfa player of the year ,van dijk is not bad sha

But it seems the English fa hates mancity so much ,I just found out aguero has never won the player of the year in the past 7 seasons but 2 Liverpool players has won it before van dijk and Liverpool has always been trophyless

The bolded is way off the mark. I take it you don't know about Manu Garba's anticidents. Well I can tell you for free that Manu Garba has had a fair share of illicit dealings and sharp practices in the past that if Nigeria was actually a working society, he will be doing time.

Okay. Maybe the man is kwarrapt, maybe he is not. Personally, I won't jump on defending/attacking the man if there's no concrete evidence to hold on to, On another day, I don't care if the man is kwarrapt, anything goes in these parts. I won't even call him out if he plays 22 players from his hometown but delivers (based on his contract).

However, we should take some things into perspective. By U17 standards the team did poorly and just skinned it at the end. There was an issue with the attack being blunt:
Why, for the love of God, is a 50+ goal contribution Adrian on the bench? WHY?. (Mind you ManU is getting the sticks from his employers now and rightly so).

That Manu has being the U17 coach since forever doesn't automatically mean he's clean. He delivered earlier so naturally the criticisms would have been shushed.

just that we rarely trust nigeria coaches. .... I still don't understand why that boy Adrian was kept in the bench all through not even a 10 mins combo.

sometimes you do things to encourage the boys. ..

The man is not different from a roadside policeman.

This is the first I'm hearing of Manu Garba involved in this at this level. In any case, it doesn't take away from what I've said.
These people, at least to some degree, provided proof/a source. What is your source? Where is your proof? Until someone comes out to say Manu Garba accepted a bribe from so and so on behalf of so and so all this is simply speculation.
And it is still silly to accuse others of liking evil until you come out and say he did this and that and people choose to keep supporting him.
Like I asked before:
Is his reason for holding camp in Lagos valid?
Were you present in camp to see Lateef train?
Does the godfather story make sense?
Should you accuse others of supporting evil because they don't agree with you?

Until you have proof, don't throw around accusations. Manu may have a bad record but why didn't anyone point it out until the Lateef issue? If there was proof in the past why isn't there any now?

Kenya Coach Migne Rejects Proposal To Face Super Eagles In Friendly Ahead AFCON 2019

Harambee Stars of Kenya head coach Sebastian Migne has rejected a proposal to have his team square up with Nigeria in a friendly game ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Completesports.com reports.

The East Africans who will compete at the AFCON finals for the first time in 15 years will train in Paris, France for three weeks ahead of the tournament.

Football Kenya Federation president Nick Mwendwa has repeatedly confirmed that the body was working round the clock to secure a high profile build-up games for the Harambee Stars.

There are reports that the Harambee Stars could line up against Nigeria and Tunisia before the AFCON finals this summer in Egypt, but Frenchman, Migne, is not keen on the proposal.

“Playing away in Abuja or Tunis with the probability of a heavy defeat just before the tournament starts may not help the team’s confidence,” a source told Nairobi News.

“Then the proposed dates for these matches are too close to the tournament and there is that possibility of getting injuries. You also have to factor in the weather.”

Kenya could however face Madagascar, Uganda or Ivory Coast in France, with Migne expected to name his 30-man squad for the French camp this week.

A team had a man advantage and introduced an attacking player (because they could afford the luxury of a man advantage),, were they supposed to play worse??

Kante has been shifted from his role and given a more advanced role at Chelsea,, does that make him less of the player he is?? Just get off this boy's back and let him do what he can do best instead of raising a very false and unnecessary alarm like we are talking of a greenhorn player here.. Ndidi has paid his dues and getting subbed off at HT doesn't mean his position in that team is under any threat.. Rogers won't even want to shoot himself in the head as it will be a tactical suicide to undermine Ndidi's contribution to that his team's setup..

Get off which back. I am pointing an angle that needs improvement and you are talking get off back. I doubt you have even repped Ndidi a quarter to the way I have. I doubt you are a bigger Ndidi's fan.

I am even pointing how I think he can improve and you are talking back.

Please.....

Ndidi is a young player and has a lot of work ahead before you talk dues.
