Dude dont compare the two...whats the essence of "dying like a god" if you are going to turn to dust on the planet you hate the most? Nothing "godly" about that
Joker is human but a really crazy one and thats the best way he could have gone out...laughing while plundging to his demise despite attempts from the hero to save him...
why should I not compare the two? DC fans has been shouting joker, joker. Now marvel gave the world the best villian ever. For you to be the best, you compare yourself with the best and beat the best. grin

in Endgame, it was said that when you travel back in time to undo something you dont change the present or future rather you create an alternate timeline or reality while makes more sense than flashpoint. WHY?
because in flashpoint, flash travel back in time to save his mother, when he saves his mother that automatically cancels the purpose of him travelling back in time in the first place because in the future his mother never dies so there is no reason to travel back in time grin

I am also very sure in Endgame, the ancient one told hulk that if the infinity stone were removed from their timeline it would create an alternate reality aka (butterfly effect).

I hope you know very much what butterfly effect is? Also, in Endgame they were told to avoid their past self to avoid a ripple effect but what happened with Captain America? Nothing.

Flashpoint centres on what would happen when one existing variable is prevented from happening and the effects it would create.

Flash saved his mother, Barry was not the flash anymore but that doesn't mean Eobard thawne wouldn't exists since he is from the future. But every pre existing variable were affected in one way or the other maybe because of the future conversation or action that were not supposed to happen.

The only thing Endgame got right was Nebula having alternative memory since her present self has gone to the past to change what her past self is supposed to do presently.

Movies like Looper explained much of it. The time travel in Endgame was deeply flawed and you are here comparing it to a critically acclaimed Flashpoint? cheesy grin

if barry went back in time to save his mother, he would never has been the flash and meaning also he would have never been enable to travel back in time to save his mother. SO endgame saying travelling back in time will never change the future makes more sense because the purpose of travelling back in time in the first place will forever exist.

For captain america,
when the avengers travelled back to 2012, and took the mind stones and space stones, they automatically created an alternate reality or timeline. and when captain america met his self, after beating his self used the mind stone to wrap his mind(2012 cap).

Flashpoint barry saved his mother, meaning kid barry would not be the flash anymore. Also the instant flashpoint barry saved his mother, he lost his speed.

So if I travel back in time to prevent Hitler from dying, it wouldn't change the outcome of world war 2?

If I gave an anonymous tip about a malfunctioning aircraft, the passengers would still die?

If i brought an advance technology that can prevent malaria to the past, the mortality rate would remain unchanged?

If I shot someone that is supposed to be a prime minister, that person would still rule?

All the books I have read always says whatever you do today would affect your tomorrow but Endgame said otherwise.

1. yes thats the point, if he loses his speed, then that will affect his future self that came from the future where he had superspeed. so that automatically creates another timeline, where barry was never the flash and his mother never died. but saying the future will change doesnot make sense because if the future changes the purpose and the speed he used will not exist!!!

hitler did something that made you go back in time, so by going back in time to prevent that something, that automatically removes the something in the future making your future self to have zero reasons to travel back in the first place

What alternative reality existed because I don't remember seeing one.
