Hanibal: Story. We have seen players like Gundogan, Zinchenko and Foden stay on the bench and grow in class and quality. No one is laughing at anyone's misfortune but wishing the players the best. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:30pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Hanibal: If you think in that perspective, you miss the real picture. Is Mahrez performing at par with other City players when he is on the pitch? No. Not because of he is from Africa but performance. Either way, Guardiola sees a big light in the young man and he will unlock it. Guardiola refined every City player, even Kolarov who left was refined. So it is not about age, class or quality. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:33pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Hanibal: Ironically, Samuel Chukwueze is getting good knowledge from Villarreal and he is finding success in it. With Guardiola, he gets to gain even more of it and become a better player. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Earthquake3: 12:37pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: You are confusing pace with hardwork, Bernardo Silva and David Silva are hardworkers but you don't necessarily associate them with pace Sane and Sterling are the ones blessed with pace in the team, Sterling has adjusted his play to link up with teammates while Sane hasn't, that's why Sterling is in the team and Sane isn't |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by peterd53(m): 12:48pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Hanibal: Guy, I know you wrote all dz because u hate pep or maybe you’re an Epl fan boy dat av been deprived of titles bcuz of pep’s white and blue army. How could u say marez is nt playing because he’s Africa? Mahrez present form is not even up to sane who hardly get game time bcuz of his defensive weakness but still start ahead of sane against spurs (UCL 1st leg) . Stop d hatred bro and speak the truth |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by do4luv14(m): 12:52pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: so its no longer game time, its nah money hmmm tell me something new why was a buy back clause inserted in his contract |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Earthquake3: 12:54pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: Did Iheanacho demand 70k a week from Man city? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:57pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Earthquake3: When Iheanacho signed for Stellar Group, it was clear his wage demands were going to go up. Stellar would not keep him with the kind of wage he earned at City. Wages played a big part in Nacho's move. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:00pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
do4luv14: The buy back clause was because Manchester City saw his potential and expects Nacho to move on to great things in the near future. If he makes it and they want him, they can meet his value and wage. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Earthquake3: 1:01pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: You're just doing postulations Iheanacho was 19 and not getting gametime that is a more plausible reason 2 Likes |

Hanibal: Well how about Yaya toure. He was obviously better when he left guardiola |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:08pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Earthquake3: They are not as fast as Sane, Sterling and Walker but they are still fast. Especially off the ball which is a big part of what Guardiola wants. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:09pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Earthquake3: You think if Leicester City offered Iheanacho less money than City, he would have left for game time? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 1:11pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: To play in the Man city front line does not require the basic pace. But blistering super pace. Mahrez is not slow and he adds superlative skill and technical ability but blistering pace not exactly. Chukwueze is an exceptional player pace he has but super blistering pace is not an attribute l would say he has. That's in comparison to Sane, Raheem, Gabriel in City line up. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Earthquake3: 1:15pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: Guardiola denied Iheanacho of game time the only plausible thing was to leave Your postulations about money are hard to believe, who would leave Man city for Leicester if they were happy there |

Anybody advising samu to join city no like the boy at all. His best bet should be to remain with Villarreal for atleast one more season and if he fancies the epl I think Liverpool will be better than scientific city lol Earthquake3: 1 Like 1 Share |

charlesemeka85: Yea Samu is an impulsive player, Guardiola trains his players to be cold and calculative like a machine |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:21pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
komekn: We have seen Bernardo Silva flourishing without working with blistering pace but Guardiola will certainly pick him over Gabriel Jesus who is relatively faster. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:22pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Earthquake3: Game time was one of the reasons but Leicester City were offering good money which we would not have matched. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Earthquake3: 1:29pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: You are speaking with two mouths you said Guardiola was obsessed with pace but you are saying he will pick Bernardo Silva over Gabriel Jesus who is faster |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by do4luv14(m): 1:29pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: he had potentials, and they can't pay him what he wants, for him to stay ahhh, oga Joe sorry for person nah |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 1:32pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
Earthquake3: With pace but it must go two ways. When the team is with the ball and when the team is not with the ball. So when Guardiola prefers Bernardo over Sane or Gabriel, it is because of the sum total of how hard and fast Bernardo works on and off the ball. |

Guardiola is a wonderful coach buh too scientific to my liking and his style against other coaches makes football matches very boring. TheGoodJoe: |

do4luv14: Potential is not present but future. They saw his potential but could not match his present demand. The buy back clause is to meet the future. Gerrit? |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by mostob(m): 1:46pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
samu ..city or Liverpool I think city will be a better choice. At Liverpool, his favorite position is manned by Salah and I don't see how Klopp will bench salah for Samu. At city, working with a tactical astute manager like Pep will improve his performance and hasten his development.. he also has higher probability of winning silverware at city, also the cash is available ...Lolz. The only challenge he will face at City is Playing time. Even at that,if he really plays well,hr might still bench some first teamers there. But IMO, I think he should stay in Spain for at least another 2/3 years since he is already familiar with their playing pattern. It may not necessarily be villareal.Moving to another league might hamper his development. o pari 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Earthquake3: 2:06pm On Apr 30, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: He had no game time the only option was to move, stop making it seem like Iheanacho was demanding money from city |
