I think you should do an affidavit to support the document.
Seniors in the house please correct if am wrong

Also for clarification purpose will verifying your MSC add more to your points after you had done your bachelors degree? Please I need to understand if it will be of benefit instead of just doing masters alone. Thanks

Am actually not done with the msc, thought will be done in less than 4 months, as that's my best bet for crossing 453 mark.

I slept well knowing that I had fulfilled all righteousness. @johnnybravo1990, there is really no harm in trying. Kindly do the needful

On another note, I was refunded the sum of N1665.30(by CIC) about a week after my application was submitted. Other than a credit alert, no explanation was given. Has anyone experienced this? Could there be an explanation for this?

Another thing is I submitted a generic letter of introduction from my bank, a certificate of treasury bills and a letter of non-indebtedness from my bank. I didn't submit any statement of account. Should I be worried?

Can someone also assist in adding me to the February ITA group.

Hmm. Not sure why you were refunded that amount. Don't be worried, the documents you submitted are okay.

Someone in the February AOR WhatsApp group, please send @Chynwey a PM, thanks.

Good day Seniors in the house!
Please can anyone who applied successfully under NOC 4032 (Primary school teacher) or used NYSC (+/-teaching) experience for Express Entry permit me to PM my wife's Reference letter & salary certificate (paid in cash) sample for corrections.
We want to use her NYSC and also 1year teaching experience in a private school.
I have tried contacting a couple but none has responded to my emails requesting PM connection.
Please Kindly assist!
Thanks a lot in advance!

For an activity driven dude like me, I'm just getting impatient with IQAS. I hate it that I can't seem to do anything. Its 81 days since my documents arrived there and no response. Although current trends suggests that I'll be attended to in the next 20/30 days, I'm just not having all of that. Plus having my IELTS in the bag is making it worse.

I called them yesterday and I was attended to by an apology of a customer care agent. I immediately moved to twitter to send the Government of Alberta (my future Government) a DM. I also sent IQAS mails.

My mind is already putting together a back up plan with WES, I'm thinking of going the 2 or more certificate way, my LLB and Law School but the money no be here, plus I'll lose points (454 to 447)which means soon-to-be Mrs A would have to write IELTS (another 68k).

I'm not even as agitated about my wedding that cojes up in 16 days time, as I am about IQAS. This Canada just has to be worth it. The city of Calgary is blessed for my sake! The legal services industry is blessed for me!

That we shall succeed is as sure as God reigns!

#AfternoonRant.

Patience brother, don't spend more money than you need to. If you start WES now, you can only hope that your ECA comes within 2-3 months in which time IQAS should have completed theirs. I did the same with my evaluation and the first one came the same week I submitted my application, it was pretty annoying. Just sit it out, look forward to your wedding and subsequent ITA in a couple of weeks.

Hello good people, I just started my immigration process to Canada. I sincerely thank the faithful people in this forum for their kind contribution. I am very grateful for the insights from this platform.

I am just at the process of applying for WES and about to prepare for IELTS. Any offer of advice from good people on how to hasten the process because by August I will be a year older which should be a moment of joy but it won't be a moment of joy for calculating CRS score. There is no hastening with WES, they work at their own pace, usually faster than other bodies anyway. So you'll just have to wait it out. Although there is the issue of verification delays from your University, if you can find a way to 'hasten' that process that would be good for you

I have both BSc and MSc in communication at UNILAG. then on what occasions does WES require verification from the university. They require verification for every transcript they receive from the University

My spouse would not be evaluating his result but doing ielts. Then good people sincerely i dont have POF o. please how can I resolve this before my days start counting so as to know how to prepare before the time comes. You can get a family member to gift you the sum, this will be backed by a gift deed

Thank you very much people for your sincere answers. Anticipating your kind response.

I guess it is the balance of your payment due to foreign currency exchange, it happens to me every time I do a foreign transaction with my Naira card (including PR application payment). The bank holds a higher amount and release the balance to you once the transaction is completely processed.

Congratulations to all those who have their IELTS, ITA, PPR and/or CoPR. As a side note...
I would suggest that we desist from making "NOC tweaking" related posts henceforth. If possible, let's try to edit or delete the existing ones. I'm sure we do not want any IRCC official or some overzealous VO to stumble upon the thread, only to have the wrong perception that Nigerians "work" their way around presenting doctored JDs that's appealing to their HR for signing, rather than the HR doing so independently to reflect the actual role(s) such persons handled while in employment.

People may send PMs to anyone they need their assistance in this regard and then come here to call their attention to the mail they sent. Let's not make these (CIC) guys extend our processing time any further. The existing timeline is already a cause for concern for those of us who are yet to get an ITA.

You can present money in your hubby's account for POF as long as he is accompanying. You will include a letter of support with your application.

dedalove:
Hello house. Thanks for all the responses all the time. Really appreciate this forum. Please I will like to ask a question. I am the PA but as of now all I have is almost half of the required POF for a family of 4. I just want to know if it's not too late post ITA to get a gift deed from my mum or can my hubby transfer the balance to me then and hope his account statement will not be needed for documentation. I am pre-ITA but hoping for one soon but have no lump sum in my account, only Tbills for part of the POF.

For the bolded, it might be problematic if you get huge inflows into your account after an ADR. It will reflect in the SOA you are presenting.

Always better to be safe than sorry.

cc: @Edmontonlad

ladymarshall:
Laws. Find the section, subsection of the law or policy or CBN directive etc that specifically bans bankers from revealing bank information to third parties. That's the only way to prove it beyond reasonable doubt.

E.g CBN consumer protection framework 2016, section 6 (2) specifically demands confidentiality and privacy for all financial customers. No information regarding customers' accounts can be divulged without the customer's consent. The bank will not give them that information. Even here, the tax man with all his power and flex, lol, must be armed with a court injunction before the bank will agree to release such personal financial information and even at that they will inform the customer first through mail.

Lol, I think I know why you asked. I like your risk appetite. Ensure the POF money is in your account at the time of e-APR and ensure you have the required POF at the POE when you land. Whatever you do in between with the money is at your risk. In the case of ADR for POF, you cannot tell if it will come to that, ensure you can access the money and put it back in your account when necessary.

It is when R10 completeness check is complete that you get MEP/BIL, so it comes before.

ladymarshall:
Seniors, please which comes first? R10 completeness check or MEP/BIL? If for instance, I did not submit the correct police certiificate, will I be rejected early on or months after MEP/BIL?

Hi Guys, has anyone been asked to fill a Relationship Questionnaire as an address after adding their spouse to their application post AOR. I got an address from CIC to fill this form and I have some questions about it. They are pretty much straight forward questions asking me if I have given gifts (money, material, other, etc) to my spouse or her family and vice-versa. I am trying to understand the context of CIC and I am just looking for someone to bounce ideas off them?

Hi everyone,
I have a question. So I submitted my Express Entry application, and I'm currently in the pool. However, my CRS is 434, and I'm looking for ways to boost my score. I've thought about a certificate, but the question is, which certificates are considered acceptable by IRCC? And as an alternative, are there diploma courses that are less than a year that I can do?
PS: the only other option when it comes to boosting my CRS is the French language test. I've reached the maximum band for IELTS, and I'd rather not take the French language route, if I can get a certificate instead.

Thank you.

Hello Guys,

Please, could anyone provide me a link on how I could do my Police report in Nigeria from outside the country?

And how long the process takes, so I can plan accordingly and not be delayed by Police report when I want to apply (since its validity is 3 months).

You will need a copy of your original result.
About 4 passports.
An affidavit (and attestation if GCE)
Two Brown evelopes.
Scratch card.
Print scratch card details.
Don't forget your wes number.

Go to waec head office at Yaba, tell them what you came for, they will direct you to the appropriate floor.

Download the form here.

Fill the form and place your finger prints, attach a passport photograph along with a copy of the bio-data page of your Int'l passport. Send to a friend/family in Naija, the person takes it to CID Alagbon for processing. If not same day, you should get it within 2-3 days.

Yes. You're adding your spouse after AOR. It's natural that they'll want to verify your marital status and/or ties to your spouse and her family.
