Omg, I can't wait to see this Ajax team square off against Barcelona in the UCL finals. That would be the most beautiful soccer game ever played on the planet earth. God please make it happen for us the purists.

That's why small clubs will always remain small.

Once they begin to show promises of excellence, they sell off their best players and start from square one again continuing their circle of mediocrity.

Leicester and Monaco are eloquent examples.

I see Tottenham beating Ajax in the 2nd leg. They were the quicker, faster and more physical of the two clubs tonight. The only thing Ajax had going for them was their slightly higher level of midfield technicality....and some sheer luck.

Considering that Son will be available for the next match and judging from Pochettino's demonstrated ability to read the Ajax game and counteract it, I'll be placing my bet on Tottenham.

Vvd deserves the award he won

When I say the fa hates mancity ,now look at this

Epl legend kun aguero has never been named pfl player of the season ,don't you find that weird ?

Give me a reason Kun aguero has never won the Epl player of the year ?

As for this season van dijk deserves it followed by sterling

Now answer my question

Even hazard was given the award when Chelsea won the league and he only scored 13 goals

Aguero is the only Epl player to score 20 goals for 5 straight seasons

Sergio Agüero wrongly neglected in Premier League awards

In what appears to be an incredible blunder, Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero has been overlooked this season when it comes to awards. The leading goalscorer in the Premier League was not shortlisted for PFA Player of the Year (eventually won by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard), nor was he even included in the PFA Team of the Season.

The two forwards included in the team of the year, Diego Costa and Harry Kane, both performed exceptionally well this season; however, not quite as well as Agüero. The 26-year-old Argentina international has hit the back of the net 25 times during Premier League play this season, that is five more goals than Kane and six more than Costa. Agüero also has racked up seven league assists this season, as many as Costa and Kane combined.

Agüero recently addressed the topic of being ignored in awards, saying, “It also happened in the season when I scored 23 goals and we won the Premier League, and I didn’t get the Young Player of the Year award. My job is just to keep working as hard as I can, and keep scoring goals. I expect to do the same again next season but what I really want is for City to win titles.”

Leicester and Monaco are eloquent examples.

Its not the club's fault sometimes, The players want to play in bigger leagues for bigger teams either for better wages or for glory.

I believe Samu should stay in Spain for a couple more years before moving to England. The English league is very physical, it is not easy to settle. Naby Keita is just starting to settle now. He should continue developing his technical attributes before moving to develop the physical part.

You're right. I was going to add that unless his team relegates, he should stay

Just as mourinho was disgraced at laliga and ended up winning 1 league title and copa del la rey with all the gra gra

Just as the most boring league has always produced the balon d or winners

Haters will say its because of cr7 and messi but i will always remind haters that modric won it

Same guardiola went to england and disgrace mourinho

Bros find another thing talk and make you dey use proof talk, no just open mouth talk

Even diego simeone won the league ahead of barca, atletico bilbao won the copa de la rey, so your mourinho did nothing special he was welcomed with a 5-0 trashing, before then mourinho has never lost by 5 goals, he called esteban granero a rat and there was tears in madrid dressing room, he caused problem with the spanish national team within barca and madrid players

La Liga was boring during the reign of Guardiola but not until Mourinho came and won the league under his nose. Read and comprehend before rushing to comment.

Nobody said laliga is a boring league.

Can Diego Simone dare win the league during the reign of Guardiola? No.

After the 5:0 trashing, it was no longer a one way traffic game. Mourinho beat Barcelona 5 times. grin

Though Barcelona won 5 times but most of their victory was when Mourinho spent two seasons.

He was just beating them in his third season. grin

Guardiola ran away because he realised somebody don open fowl yanch. grin

You have a valid point.

They are always bias when it comes to city

If you check the past 8 years Pfa player of the year have come from some of the league winners but it has failed to come from mancity ,even ryad mahrez won it because Leicester won the league but a mancity player is forbidden from winning it

Luis Suarez won it did Liverpool win the league then NO ,yes Luis Suarez deserve it

Salah won it did Liverpool win the league then ?NO,thou salah did great

Now van dijk won it ,sterling was snubbed ,Liverpool might end up not winning the league and it will be the 3rd time a Liverpool player will win it without winning any trophy

Even van persie won it during his man united days

But a certain aguero with 3 Epl titles can't even manage to win one
