I'm telling you that you're greatly exaggerating the degree of difficulty. The Nets were a mediocre team that beat another mediocre team playing in a mediocre conference. It's not about the higher or lower seed. It's not a coincidence that the Spurs had it tougher getting out of the West than winning the NBA Finals
