No, the thanos of 2014 and that of 2018 are from the same timeline but different time point because it won't make any sense to kill another Thanos from a reality that is not yours.

The 2014 thanos has not yet done what the 2018 Thanos did but was going to that was why when nebula started having alternative memory he (Thanos) said they were from the future (not alternative reality) trying to undo what the 2018 Thanos did. Infact one of his one liner was "you couldn't live with your own failure and where does that lead you, Back to me". That alone showed it was not an alternative reality but a different time point in the same time continum.

So I ask if the 2014 thanos was snapped out of reality, then the purpose of the avengers going back in time has been defeated. Infinity war wouldn't had happened because Thanos wasn't alive at that time.

Hence, Flashpoint>>>>>>>>>>>>>Endgame time travel.
I don't think is flawed. Remember avengers initial plan wasn't to wipe out thanos but to bring back others nd they did that bt unfortunately 2014 thanos found out abt it nd traveled to the future with another purpose entirely (to wipe out all things nd create another universe) so the avengers had no other plan than to compromise by wiping thanos nd his armies out of existence. Also for infinity war, I don't think those that were wiped out during IW would av been brought back if the avengers had just killed the younger thanos without using the infinity stone to bring them back coz whatever the infinity stones has been used for will be permanent, there is nothing that can change it even travelling back in time can't undo whatever the IS did

So apparently, Thanos gave Hulk such an asś whooping in Infinity War that it drove him back to sanity. Compare the Hulk of New York in 2012 to Endgame Prof Hulk. That guy was neutered mehn, they chopped the green man's balls off and gave him to eat.

First he got his asś whooped like a toddler by Tony Stark in AoU, then nearly got killed by Thor in Ragnarok, then was decimated by Thanos in Infinity War. In Endgame, he was just like a domesticated animal that anyone could play with and take selfies with.

My question is, why does Marvel hate the Hulk so much?

Why? Why? Why??

why does it not make sense? As I said the thanos 2014 is from an alternate reality running parallel with the MCU timeline so anything thanos of the MCu was going to do than Thanos from alternate reality will do too

The 2014 thanos has not yet done what the 2018 Thanos did but was going to that was why when nebula started having alternative memory he (Thanos) said they were from the future (not alternative reality) trying to undo what the 2018 Thanos did.

this was the reason endgame did not take that approach because they wanted the previous to stand and still happen.

You are right but still flawed.
Thanos of Endgame(2019) is dead, thanos of infinity war(2018) snapped out half of humanity, thanos of pre GotG(2014) haven't done any of the above. Are they all the same thanos from the same timeline but different time point yes, you were correct on that. But the mistake you made is that if the thanos of 2014 is snapped out of reality, then the Thanos of 2018 and 2019 shouldn't have existed but alas they did which isn't how time travel work. If your past self is killed you are supposed to have no future but that wasn't the case here. Hence Flashpoint is better than Endgame time travel.
if you can use the alternate reality time travel theory I have been saying you will see that there was no mistake like that.

marvel doesn't have the full right to hulk yet. That meant be the problem because if hulk or namor are the main guys in any marvel movie , universal studios will be the main distributor of the movie and Disney won't allow that

Yes, hulk said you can't change your future, but he said they can make their future their past and then create another future where nobody was snapped out.

The purpose of time travel in Endgame is to go to the past (not another reality)where they last saw the infinity stones, retrieve it, take it to their present, and then recreate a future where the snap was undone hence making Thanos snap which was their present a past event. But during all their skimming and plotting, they didn't plan that 2014 Thanos would figure out their plan aka nebula effect that was why when he attacked them, they weren't prepared.

But by snapping the Thanos of 2014 out of reality, there shouldn't be a Thanos of 2018 and 2019 but alas, that didn't happen. That alone defeated their purpose of time travel. Had they just send him back to his original time point, that would had been more convincing and correct.

yes now we are going somewhere. Then when hulk travelled back in time and met the ancient one she said removing the infinity stones will create alternate timeline. Lets use the corrected flashpoint storyline, when flash was back in time and saved his mother a new timeline was formed with the help of reverse flash, then when flash went back to prevent himself for travelling back in time in the first place he did not return to his timeline because of what Dr Manhattan did. But that timeline(flashpoint) was still running before Dr Manhattan finally erased it in the button. And you know this whole rebirth is about connecting the pre new 52 and rebirth lines.

Time travel storylines always leads to these kinds of discussions between iuwe and hulk616.

Very mind numbing.

With time travel, the both of you are right and the both of you are wrong.

It is the ultimate deux ex machina. You can contrive the fùck out of anything however the fùck you want.

On a side note, Thor is quite hilarious though. His comedic timing is genius, methinks he's naturally a goofball. I really loved him in EG.

This is the main reason why parallel reality wouldn't work.

What's the rule of the infinity gauntlet in the comics?

The infinity gauntlet and stone only works on the reality/dimension where is was collected and would only affect that reality/dimension.

Verdict- IF THE AVENGERS FOUGHT THANOS OF ANOTHER REALTY, THEN ALL THERE ACTIVITIES WOULDN'T AFFECT THEIR OWN REALITY. THE REVIVED AVENGERS WOULDN'T BE FROM THEIR OWN REALITY BUT AN ALTERNATE ONE.

So you see alternative reality theory doesn't work at all.

stop saying this timeline thing.it confuses people. Thanos that fought them was from the past. The future than died. Since they went to the pa's to take the infinity stone, you noticed loki was still alive. So assuming loki traveled back with them, then thanos wouldn't have killed him. Because he traveled to the future from the past. Thanos is same thanos from the past coming to the future to fulfil the prophecy.

the avengers went back in time to pick the story in their own reality (MCU) by removing the stories at that point in time they Automatically create another timeline. So the stones used in endgame were still for their timeline but from the past. And Thanos 2014 from another timeline entered the main timeline (MCU) which means the effects of the stones in that reality will affect him. No. It seems the guy is just arguing for arguing sake.

When the Avengers went back in time to get the stones, their aim is to undo the snap and bring back those that Thanos wished away. Thanos is already dead at the beginning so undoing the snap won’t bring Thanos back.

The timeline in Endgame is the current timeline, all other timelines are alternative timelines. Prof Hulk already said you can’t go back in time to change the past because the future is set already.

If Thanos 2014 had not find Nebula 2023 and she opened the portal for him to come to 2023, Thanos would still have gotten the stones and wipe out half of the world and in 2018 the avengers undo the snap in 2023. Going back in time doesn’t change the past.

When Thanos 2014 came to the main timeline 2023, he had no idea of whatever he had done before except for what he heard on Nebula memory scan.

That is why after Hulk used the stone to wish away Thanos and his army, the timeline remained the same. Asgard still remain destroyed, Loki still remain dead. The only difference was that those that was snapped away came back but they had the memory that something happened and they were turned to dust.

The time travel makes sense and realistic.

you guys are both right going by different standards.
the thing is, nobody has ever time travelled, so there is no universal rule or standard for it,it's just all imagination.

the problem with this argument is "iuwe" is using the flashpoint's rule of time travel to judge EG time travel.
from what I could deduce from the hulk's explanation,EG time is fixed, nothing you do can and will not change what has already happen in the MCU since 2008, that's why rhodey suggestion they go and kill baby thanos would not work.

let's say after the event of EG, the team travel back to 2015 of their reality,(note: the 2014 MCU thanos is dusted) there would still be a 2015 MCU thanos.
MAIN THING IS THE MCU TIMELINE (the one we've been seeing since 2008) IS CEMENTED AND NOTHING CAN AND WILL CHANGE IT
