Na Busquest go mark Salah and if Salah escapes he will meet Lenglet who is just as slow

And they will shock you! I prefer talentless players with drive and passion. That's what this team is made up of!

The only hope for that team are all the players joining from abroad like Chukwueze, Kingsley Michael, Tom Dele Bashiru etc..

Otherwise, it is not a very good team.

This is the worst U20 squad I've seen in a long time

Some people definitely paid to be in that team

If you know they will join why are you dwelling on bringing down players who won't make the list in the first place.

Which specific player have i brought down??

I have only spoken about overall quality.. As a whole. There will still be many that i feel shouldn't make the team in the final list.

The hope is that the sprinkling of quality from a few players like chukwueze will prevent a disgraceful outing.

I said players. You are talking about the home based lads stop with the pretense. You have done nothing but bring them down from age to quality to accusing the coach of bribery but fact remains they got us here.

Instead of focusing on the bad let's focus on the good like our CB pairing and our DMF. The expectation has always been to strengthen the team before the world cup so I don't see the need to start a campaign against this team.

No player on this team is on Samu's level but what we can hope for is that they can fill into some of our weaker positions.

So winning the afcon is now a criteria for winning the world cup?

Ernesto Valverde has played Vidal and Sergio Busquest

He is prepared to defend against Liverpool at Camp Nou

Oga the players that played at Afcon are below par, if he takes them to world cup he is not serious

Besides how can you expect to do well at world stage when you are whitewashed by African opponents

Apart from Ozornwafor and Ogbu, which other player was impressive in the AFCON??

Yes, they got to the WC but they are not a strong size. The quality of the team was obvious in that tournament but we had time to boost quality.

Over the past few months, i expected the coach to look for more talents within the country but we are going to the final camp with the same bunch of players.

Now we are hoping that some foreign based boys might save the day.

The age thing is an open secret.. There is no need going into that. And the bribery story was from inside sources.

If there were many positives to concentrate on, i will do that.

stop shifting blames please.... they're some of you here...even when an Indegenous coach is caught taking kickbacks you guys will still support him.... and still claim he is transparent..
is it not glaring to you...that we have better players in the country who are truly under 20 and not in this team. .... are they the best under 20 players in the NPFL?

the coach didn't do a good job scouting....

to be honest I don't understand some persons on this thread....
sometimes I think they're some coaches and scout here with us on this thread....

it is so ridiculous that one will see nothing wrong in the poor and lazy scouting of the under 20 handlers...even if it were to be foreign born I believe we even have more not on this team...... especially in the attack..... thank God he manage to call a few

So, beside Mikel nobody can actually play the 10 role ? Don't say Iwobi because all that little nigga do is run around trying to showcase his senseless skills. Now, why can't Rohr start Moses Simon from the middle ,because that's the only option left. Iwobi doesn't have the lung capacity to control a midfield, Kelechi is still learning how to trap a ball and even Mikel barely cuts it.
I remember when we had Christian Obodo, Okocha, Obiora,Oruma and Uche Kalu(Senegal). What is going on ? For over 10yrs a country of over 150 million people can not produce a decent midfielder ? This is annoying.

oga iwobi is even more ideal for the number 10 role than mikel. having a string of poor games recently in that position doesnt mean he is bad. he is the best suited player in that role for now

After Mikel, Iwobi is our best # 10. Watch our first leg afcon qualifier against Libya and the second half of our England friendly to see what I'm talking about.

But you're right about us not having an abudance of midfielders.
