They are all scam, all na merry go round.
APC governors except Lagos and Ogun cannot pay 30k miminum wage, pdp govs too. It's pure scam. How much is oyo igr? The security vote you guys are shouting upon, how much is it , state by state? When the money comes, do they pocket it? Where do you think all those police vans and money spent to keep states safe come from? Before you cast aspercion, why not wait and see how many states governed by the apc would be able to eventially pay the disputed wage? When the wage was not yet reviewed and signed into law, osun state with many others was owing workers up to 8 months. What do you think would happen now that the wage is 30k and the allocation has not increased? Reason logically bro.

Thanks for being real.

The figurine at the helm of affairs is just being a robot. How many states can even afford the earlier #18k minimum wage?

Jow much is Osun, Kwara generating? How much is Oyo generating? Will Federal government help them to pay? Many states are useless in terms of IGR. .. Ogun that is 3rd highest generating state, were they paying the #18k minimum wage? The only way is for the federal government to allocate oil wells to all state to boost their income or we cancel all this senators and make the house a part time sitting. Did you know how many states that are owing? I am not even talking about northern states. I mean state like Ogun and the rest. Makinde, thank you for coming out. You are indeed a great guy

No, the truth is, IGR received by boat states can't be enough to maintain ordinary infrastructure. Only a few states can boldly pay the new wage. Even with allocation and unending bailout, many of them stil owe workers. This is a simple analogy. Let's see then magic wand the governors would use. I foresee wage crises in Nigeria soon, both at then state and federal levels

yea, Ogun can pay the minimum wage, though they would not be consistent about it as there would be backlogs. There are many of them who cannot pay the wage for more than a month. This oyo man is being realistic here. All the apc governors thst are keeping quiet are doing so for political reasons, they don't want to sound being disloyal. Dem go soon hear am.

Partisanship kills critical and objective reasoning, we all know that states currently struggle to pay salaries, without increased allocation from the centre, and increased IGR (which takes time) are you expecting the man to perform magic or you'd prefer lies

Stfu

Oyo generates the seventh largest igr in Nigeria which is far more than most state in the East.

Shouldn't he wait to get into office first and assess the situation before churning out unwarranted excuses.

What about his own salaries and benefits? Shouldn't he be looking to slash that.

If Apc had won the last election and made such statements, would you have condone it?

This country tire me ,if payment of workers wages will be under taken by the state government ,what will be the responsibility federal government, go round state all state of federation u will find out that most of the so-called federal roads are in dilapidation state, what services do federal government render to Nigeria in general ,but they are blameless when comes to bad road and all that .we always look up to our state governors for better leadership. So I think federal should allow state to handle their resources.

Oyo state have not seen anything yet, this man is well known for owing workers salary. His workers at MAKON Engineering (oil and gas) are being owed 6 months salary.
Even when Shell Petroleum (client) pays, he will still claim that there is no money to pay the meager salary the staff are receiving.

A society will always get the leader they deserve.
