Which Igalas? The Igalas that have produced over 40 aspirants already? The Igalas whose paramount ruler eats out of Bello’s palms like a hungry baby? The Igalas are history in kogi. Bello will get more votes in Igala land than even Ebira his home land
Even in the past they have more aspirants than others but when election day comes their voters give nothing less than 90% of the votes to a particular aspirant which eventually wins. The Igala kings have always shown loyalty to any incumbent Government or Governor but election is a different ball game and the king flows on the direction of his people when the winner is eventually declared.

How come I feel that you are an Egbira...

Oh! So you love how Bello brought thuggery back? Or what exactly are you saying? The Igalas have not tried to develop the state but they did not bring this kind of horror upon the land. Paying the civil-servants should be top priority of any government...did I need to tell you that? A governor can choose not to build schools, hospitals or not construct roads but be paying salaries and the people will be cool with it.

The opportunity Bello from the minority got he has wasted thus far. Let me tell you, I can swear that if he had performed well, the Igalas would have supported him.

The Attah of Igala is in his pocket. The Igalas will over support him in November. Remember I told you so.

Just trying to help your ministry because I want the election to be hotly contested. Well if u give Bello your ticket, PDP doesn't need to spend money to campaign. Goodluck to you guys tho

Governor Yahaya Bello last night visited the National Leader of All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in his Lagos home

The visit may not be unconnected with Kogi State governorship election which is coming up later this year.

Bello was declared winner of the 2015 Kogi State gubernatorial election after he was chosen on the platform of the All Progressives Congress as the replacement for the late Abubakar Audu who originally won the election but died before the result was declared.

The replacement, which was facilitated by former APC Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun and some party chieftains, did not go down well with Tinubu and his political structure who had wanted Hon. James Faleke, the deputy gubernatorial candidate to replace Audu.

Reports have it that Bello may not be offered the ticket to seek re-election under the ruling APC due to his below average performance since he became governor of Kogi State about three years ago.

Typical, speaking from both sides of the mouth. Why didnt you express the same opinion in Osun state.[
seunmsg:
Bello’s Performance in office is comparable to the performance of governors like Ikpeazu, Ortiz, Dickson etc. if the later governors can seek re-election and win, nothing stops Yahaya Bello from seeking re-election. However, I want the good people of Kogi to vote him out. Any governor that fail to pay workers salaries as at when due is simply inhuman. Such leaders shouldn’t be compensated with a second term.

Heaven and earth have rejected Bello. Watch how the Igalas will change when an Igala emerges to contend with him. What you are seeing the Igalas display for now is because no main Igala candidate has been chosen to contest with Bello.
