lilclin: Thanks boss. If you had to pick 1. Which would you go for? Also, do you have an idea of the fuel consumption of either? |

hello everyone! please I want to buy a brand new generator. can you recommend a place on Lagos mainland where I can get original generator. I am not too familiar with the KVA sizes, but I want the type the is bigger than the "I better pass my neighbor" type but smaller than the medium size generator (I think it should be between 1.3 KVA to 1.5kva). |

lilclin: yeah I know, but thermocool is so expensive! It's actually N65k. I can't go beyond N45k. and elepaq/senswei fits the budget |

datigbogirl: Before you use your blender, know the wattage in comparison with your generator capacity. Your sumec firman is about 1000W |

Engineers in the house, I need your urgent advise. I use Sumec 3000SPG, its a 2.8kw max output rated gen. I have been using it for the past 5 years although with some minor parts changed. I use it to power few bulbs in a 2 bedroom flat, Fridge with freezer combined, and washing machine. Of recent, I have been using1000w microwave oven with the gen but with the fridge and washing machine switched off. However, yesterday I noticed that when I wanted to use the microwave with the gen, the gen switcher off after 15 seconds. Then, I put on the gen and tuned up the power, then plug the microwave. To my surprise, the microwave powered on, but did not heat the food. I thought the gen has spoilt the microwave. However when NEPA brought light, I tested the microwave and it worked perfectly ok. I called my technician to service the gen since it is due for service anyway and to fix the problem . The technician changed the piston and serviced the gen. The gen is working but the problem with the microwave still persist. Please anybody with dilution to this? What could be wrong with the gen? If the gen doesn't work with the microwave, it will mean no food for me when I come back from work in the night ooooo |

herakles: I just got Senwei Super silent 1.8kva today. The Gen isn't bad at all,it doesn't make much noise like others. Its a new product in the market that's why it's cheap. Basically, all Gen are practically the same except if the coil isn't full copper. The best in the market is Honda which is very expensive. Thermocool Gen were built with advance tech to reduce fuel consumption. Other are the same thing i.e Elepaq,Sumec Firman and Sunwei. |
