Book regular and go there that you want to do walk-in and pay the 42k across the counter. This happens in Abuja though. chukyrooy: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Hunnybee: 6:13pm On May 02, 2019 |
Book an ordinary appointment for any available date, print your appointment confirmation email then go in tomorrow or any suitable day with your 42k in your account and tell the security at the gate you want to opt for walk in. If you're doing assisted, you'll pay extra 10k. chukyrooy: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by chukyrooy(m): 6:53pm On May 02, 2019 |
Hunnybee: Thanks for the suggestion, but what's your opinion though, is 4 days earlier appointment worth 52k? Because I'll be coming fr Port Harcourt. Or do you think applying 5 weeks before the intended travel date is tricky? |

Well, I don't think 5weeks before intended date is too early, might be just me though. Won't you still pay 42k for the other day too? Let the gurus put mouth as I be JJC for this journey too chukyrooy: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by chukyrooy(m): 7:28pm On May 02, 2019 |
Hunnybee: The other date is free self service appointment. Wanted to travel in July but the difference in flight tickets is over a 100k, so I'll rather go in June and come back early July. |

Jarus: Hi @Jarus I have the same case as in the quoted above. I will be fully sponsored by my company to have a business trip to UK. So does it make sense to fill both question about : 1. How much money I will spend and 2. Amount of money sponsor will be paying towards. with the exactly same amount? Did you manage to get the UK visa granted for you? I am worrying, some people states that the question 1. should be filled with '0' as we are not gonna spend anything as we are fully sponsored. Please advise. Thankssss! |

Belovedolu: 1. Make sure that is the amount she earns in a year and you can explain what she does 2. The same answer as question number 1 3.Present bank statement showing that amount. 4. Adding shopping money is not necessary 5. Ok 6. Ok 7. Ok 8. Ok Yes its important to add that she is coming to help you with the new born baby since its your first child...in fact that should the main reason for the visit. Explain any cash deposit in your account that is not salary 1 Like |

chukyrooy:oh really? Maybe is my bank or my mastercard. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Jarus(m): 8:41pm On May 02, 2019 |
rossydinda: Put the amount your company will spend in both places. It effectively means the company is sponsoring the trip. Put enough comments in the comments section to emphasize that the company is sponsoring the trip as it is a business. On your question, I have never been denied a UK visa. Applied 4 times and got on each occasion. 1 Like |

Hello Guys So i applied for a visitor visa in and got the denial letter last week.I was surprised seeing as i have visited the the USA,Tanzania,South Africa(official), UAE in the last 5 years. My last UK visa expired unused in 2012 and my financial circumstance has greatly improved since i last applied almost 10 years ago. Denial Reason - we cant determine your salary or if you pay taxes based on the info you provided. In addition, you had some unexplained deposits which may have been used to inflate your a/c (i did no such thing, they were probably referring to my bonus). I wonder why its difficult to determine my pay especially since i submitted my official salary a/c bank statement with my monthly salary credits (i work in a bank), 2 other bank statements, Payslips for 1 year, Letter from my Employer stating my annual salary and level, proof of investments etc Anyway, my question for the gurus; how soon can i reapply since i'm not allowed to appeal or have an admin review. what other options do i have? like getting an lawyer bla bla Gracias |

Hello Justwise and other gurus pls put your mouth in my matter. I asked a question earlier before going through the trend so I took time and read through and I think I'm more informed but just so I'm double sure of my chances and corrected if wrong. Below is my story I was denied UK Visa about 8-10years ago..not quite sure now. Bases of refusal was that my then sponsor (my uncle) didnt have sufficient balance or the ECO wasn't convinced he will/could sponsor my trip etc. Fast forward to how things have changed I am now employed for 7 years with 250k salary and about 450k in my account(also some credits from hubby- must I explain these in cover letter?) , I have some agrictech investments that will mature by july worth 1.5m, I have openended mutual funds of 200k, I birthed last year in USA with a 2years valid Visa and I declared pregnancy to VO and have my zero balance. My husband has a quite impressive travel history but I have only been to south Africa twice and then this USA. My blood sister and brother are UK green card holders and my sister is inviting my son and I for summer, I'd be sponsoring the trip and plan to go in August first week. She's only going to offer Accommodation and feeding. What must she send to me? What must be in her invitation letter? What must be in my cover letter? When must I start application in view of my intended date of travel? What must be in my checklist of documents? What must my budget look like? Pls guys, I need your mouths in this matter as I dont want to make mistakes pls |

Hello just wise, ekpotek nd other gurus in the house. . Pls I want to renew my visa.My first visa was 6months(multiple entry) , I stayed for 3weeks in my first visit (this was d Christmas hols period), stayed 2mnths in my 2nd visit. now I want to apply fr 2yrs.my question is this: 1.do I have to get another leave letter frm employer. I'm not travelling anytime soon, maybe in August or September. 2.is there need to address my staying in UK fr 2mnths, telling the UK embassy I was working from home during the visit. Nd also get a letter from employer confirming this? 3.will the fact I stayed in UK fr 2months affect my chances of getting this 2yrs visa?(i never exceeded my visa stay though) 4. I submitted 2bank account statement in my first application, this time I want to submit 1bank account(my salary account) is this advisable? 5.Does the embassy check how your money was spent, cause i have half of what is suppose to be in my salary account.. My husband who's inviting me will be my sponsor though. Pls anyone with answers, help me out. Thanks |
