Hello fam, please is it adviceable for my sponsor to transfer my tuition fee into my personal account and make the payment myself or must my sponsor make the payment personally from his account due to visa application, since he is going to present his statement of account.
Thank you.

Not necessarily, your sponsor is the main reference.

Either way is acceptable; since you will be required to present your personal account as well as your sponsors' account statement too.

Not entirely complicated but enough proof / documentation is required

Hello @ Dreamchaserz, In my opinion, it us not advisable for you to use your dad as sponsor with you working, married, and your wife having a business. If at all you will include your dad as sponsor, it is better for your dad to go to his bank and request for you to be added on his statement as a joint account. It worked for me,so I believe it is a possible route. The point is if you are gainfully employed and married, what is the need for a sponsor?the V O would expect your dad to put the funds in your account.for me it is a red flag.other ppl can advice, regards.

I am new here, i will like to ask a few questions. I studied guidance and counselling for bsc and I am interested in studying in Ireland for masters. I realized there is a kind of restriction for courses to study for masters in Ireland because of employment. I will be grateful if I can be put through on courses someone like me can study in Ireland. Thank you

I have a similiar case.. I studied Religion for Bsc, working as an Administrator. I am interested in studying in Ireland for Masters... Pls, i will be entirely grateful if someone can put me through Schools for someone like me can study.... Thank you

@silin, If your dad is retired and will be sponsoring you,he needs to show proof of where this funds are coming from.i.e,pension,gratuity,or private business. It is not enough for him to show he has the funds needed to sponsor you,but to prove the funds are not instant lodgement or standing in isolation.there needs to be constant flow.regards.

Thank you very much for your response @sholsp. My dad retired late last year, october to be precise, but he has not been paid his gratuity yet, that will take some time before he will be paid. But he has some money he has saved up for a while now. Thats this year, but he has not used it. Please, whats the best way to go about this situation. Your kind advise will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi, as it seems, you got like two options.your dad can use his bank statement and in his sponsor letter, point out what he has been doing after work,he should state that he is retired and the funds have been his savings, either from rents earned etc.in another way, he can transfer the required funds to your account, write a letter backing that up and explaining that.you should also inform the embassy in your sop.with either of these, you should be good to go.
