Why do they keep writing at the end of each email that "Total E&P Nigeria CPFA Limited is NOT a division of Total E&P Nigeria Limited nor Total Nigeria PLC and has its own conditions of employment and service." Make them no employ person come dey talk story say them no go pay person like oil worker oh. Because I don't understand this disclaimer. Abi they don't want us to have high hopes.

They are not an oil company.

They are in investment/pension/fund management industry. Their benchmark companies are ARM, StanbicIBTC etc but they do better than those. But please don't expect oil company condition of service. They are not an oil company.

The thing is, people salary expectation differs. Wat A considers as good salary might be bad to B. I dont know what oil and gas pays, i also do not know wat top paying banks pay but i know i have expectations and sometimes i feel its proper for companies to poimt out salary range for specific job.

That said, if once salary expectation is between 1m to 1.5m per month net, do u consider that a range the this company can match? Or do u consider it outrageous and a range only for oil/gas?

If they cannot match your salary expectation, it's a simple matter of walking away (or chasing them away with your pay demand).
