If the 4GB variant is what you want then you need not wait for the 3GB ram variant and moreover it's just 100 units of redmi note 7 that will be discounted. Well except you fancy your luck, I would go with the slot thingy if I were you.

I think Xiaomi has sidelined slot. I’ll just head to pointek early tomorrow morning because the 3gb ram on my previous redmi 5 plus almost drove me nuts. I’m still thinking about what would be in the 10k gift bag
