Well, what we will get from this, is a very unpredictable team. And that could either mean a good thing or a bad thing. tbaba1234: |

junnyjake: Yea though the etymology of the word mulatto(from mules, mulus) is somewhat demeaning, buh, so are some other English words not considered offensive. |

ChrisKels: I got you mate! My cynicism heightens when I sense an attempt to control my language all in a bid to appear politically correct. There are quite a number of things I'd like to say, but say, make we no derail the thread. |

tbaba1234: We don't need old players in our team because it will not do us any good. Paul Aigbogun should focus on picking the best players within the age range and use them to execute the WYC. |

Igoh ogbu, Jerome Akor & Tijani Muhammed will definitely make the team as foreign based players. The remaining slot would be filled by home based players. Aigbogun will not add up to 5 new player to his team. Most of these foreign born players will end up as training materials. The agents of the local players are there with so much influence for their players and its obvious from the look of things those players would be selected. I feel for those players from England. 1 Like |

junnyjake: Thing is that we blacks just wouldn't let go the humiliation our great grandfathers suffered during the slave trade, hence we become overly sensitive and just wouldn't loosen up, there by viewing every little thing via the lens of racism. Check out this bias, we can easily call a Caucasian an oyibo but would frown when we get addressed as negros or black. Some of us even go as far as getting offended when called an African. |

ChrisKels: The word Oyibo was never used to enslave an entire race. In fact, Oyibo is used as a complimentary term. This can not be compared with words like "Nigger" which have vile origins and history. 2 Likes |
