khunz: No bad for omeruo, he has had a good season this year. But na only naija players dey celebrate team of the week like say na trophy, see as him friends they type congrats for him page like say him win champions league. Inferiority complex dey really worry them Na so dem dey congratulate themself for goals ,when chuks score Barca for that 4-4 and that man of the match performance ,see as all of them dey write congrats for the goal like say na so others African top players dey do Ordinary goal clearance from line wey omeruo clear ball e post am for instagram like say na achievement ,he for no clear the ball nah e for allow all enter as if dem no dey pay am salary . The only congrats that's important if you don't win a trophy is etebo sw player of the year ,or if Ndidi go win Leicester young player of the year again 3 Likes 1 Share |

safarigirl: I agree and disagree. Etebo has a fantastic engine and is highly versatile, this guy has played almost every outfield position on the pitch as a professional. Without going into too much detail he simply needs to add a bit more quality to his game in the final third. He can become as good as Essien was. For now he is a good squad player. |

Villarreal super teen Samuel Chukwueze has been ranked as Africa's most valuable U20 player in Europe's top five leagues by CIES Football Observatory. According to the study by the Swiss-based organization, the Nigeria international is worth €35 million, which makes him the 12th most expensive U20 player on the planet based on transfer market valuations. The fifty players on the list have been ranked according to their age, position, performance, contract duration, full international and other factors. The 19-year-old Chukwueze is enjoying a breakthrough season at Villarreal, with 37 appearances under his belt in all competitions for the first team, scoring 8 goals and providing three assists. The Diamond Academy product is on the radar of Liverpool and Manchester City ahead of the reopening of the transfer window on the back of his fine form for the Yellow Submarine. Nigeria's U20 and U23 coaches and manager Gernot Rohr are all competing for his services ahead of international games in May and June. At €150.3m, Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho is the most valuable U20 player, followed by Arsenal’s Mattéo Guendouzi (€70m) and AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo (€67m). |

wayodude:he is too old for us to be talking about what he can become. This is it. There is no becoming Essien. He is a jack of all trades and master of none. He is not a game changer. You can't look to him for penetrating crosses or screening the defense. He doesn't have good hold up play, he can't dictate the pace of a game. At most, he has bursting runs, but that's what the wingers are for. He is in essence, useful everywhere, and yet, useful nowhere. He is just in the team, for lack of a better option. It isn't because he is a great footballer, or he has done anything exceptional. He is not much different from John Ogu, they are dispensable players and their careers will end unceremoniously in the Super Eagles, One day, he won't be called up, and nobody will care, because he was never all that anyway. 1 Like |

Starboytwo:you people seem to not understand what he won. Etebo did not win Stoke City Player of the Year. Jack Butland won that award. Etebo won something called, South West Stoke City Player of the Year, and till now, I don't even understand what the hell that means. He is not the Stoke City Player of the Year, let's be guided please. 3 Likes |

charlesemeka85: Let the man rest in peace. He only missed one afcon sir. I wonder if ogu, omeruo have continued to bribe their way into the team. All the boys he fought against were later invited by thus same man, Yobo, Osaze and Uche. It's on record he's the only coach in recent years to look in the direction of Sone Aluko who according to Forgiveness was frozen out of the team cos he's principled. Keshi gave opportunities to Rheem Lawal and Hope Akpan, who else has called up thus guys? Don't forget Keshi introduced Balogun to the SE.but anyway we see things differently, I rest my case. |
