While Ndidi is a better DM that Etebo - Etebo is easily the better footballer. Etebo is just an inconsistent all rounder. When he's on song - he can be unstoppable. He's a better dribbler and passer than Ndidi. He needs to work on his decision making sha.

Well, you are not far from the truth but I don't think he's that good in the CM.

You can turn him into a sardine if you have time. Nacho went for an instinctive finish because of the coming keeper. More time on the ball gives the keeper advantage to cover. Players miss clear cut chances. Even the best of the best.

It is a miss.

Finito.

Iheanacho had enough time. Go and see the match again.

Rushing na em even sweet pass.

Manchester City are back to the top of the Premier League table after recording a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium, thanks to Vincent Kompany's second-half screamer.

Two Super Eagles stars, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, featured for the Foxes but it was the midfielder's performance that caught the eyes of many fans, who took to Twitter to sing his praise.

See what they are saying concerning his excellent display against the Citizens :

@officialsimcard: "Ndidi is Class, recognize Him or Not Simply Class"

@siya80393570:" Ndidi has been world class so far for this Leicester game"

@ChuBoi: "Announce Ndidi abeg @ManUtd"

@mediocentr0: "Ndidi balling!"

@markgoldbridge: "If Ndidi is willing to take a step down to earn more money United should be all over a deal
for him this summer"

@JohnBennettBBC: " Brilliant tackle by Ndidi. He's back to his best under Rodgers"

@SSE_NGA: "Wilfred Ndidi always turns up against the 'big boys'.#MCILEI"

@Abee_Chi: "Only if Ndidi was European, He would have been regarded as one of the best. #MCILEI"

@brnunited: "Ndidi is brilliant."

@Deepoctane_: " Wilfred frigging Ndidi is so underrated mehn!"

@UtdTalha: "NDIDI IS SOMETHING ELSE."

@WassUtd: "NDIDI ! WHEN WILL HE RECEIVE THE RECOGNITION? BEST DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER IN OUR LEAGUE! STATISTICALLY THE BEST ASWELL!"

@dgeneraldubaku: "Ndidi is underrated home and abroad"

@Denye007: "Man Utd is losing Herrera for next season, they should quickly snap up Ndidi if they're wise."

@siya80393570: "Ndidi has been world class so far for this Leicester game"

As one who played as a striker, I no go miss that chance. grin

He had the option to feign the keeper as if he wanted to take a shoot and allow the ball rolling a bit to his right foot before moving it into the box. At that point he would had made the keeper static for few seconds which would had allowed him get ahead and shoot into the post.

That was what I expected him to do but he messed up big time.

Sone was ignored despite winning man of the match for Rangers. As you rightly said, he was ignored even until he moved to the championship. That's the point.

How did Raheem lawsl got into the national team?

I think because he went against his club who were at the verge of qualifying for play off to the la Liga 2 to play for the AFCON U23 where he was joint top scorer of the tournament and made the best eleven despite not qualifying for the Olympics. Keshi was at the games there and promised to the national team.

I learnt his club gave a bad report to the la Liga club that wanted to buy him.

Anyway, that was the situation then.

I asked a simple question but I heard a long story, who else besides Keshi have given these guys, hope akpan, sone aluko and raheem lawal anything close to an invite?

So Bournemouth bought Jordan Ibe for 15million and bought Solanke for 19million

Talk about overpriced

At the time Ibe was an outstanding young player and doing exceptional things for Liverpool albeit he didn't score many goals.

Not over priced at the time.

Solanke move is baffling to me not the move but the price.

LOL. See ehn, don't even try to use that people like you line with me, else, I will send you on a wild goose chase for ONE post of mine ever hailing Etebo, and you will never find it.

Maybe people like YOU blindly hype anybody that plays a decent game, but don't use that term with me.

Etebo may be decent to you, but he will forever be bang average to me. I never called him trash.

I don't know what performance he put up against Algeria, I did not see his name being hyped. I saw Mikel and Moses and it is shameful that the most recent performance he has had, that you recall, is from a game that was played over two years ago.

Imagine, an almost three year old game, and you wsnt me to believe he's a baller. What a joke!
aunty ,nobody hyped am. when you said you didn't see what he brings to the team, that is extreme. If u had called him Average .ehn ehn we would have understand.

Forget Matic – Man United must revive interest in this 22-year-old PL midfielder to challenge Liverpool next season Published 4 weeks ago on April 11, 2019 By Rohan Sengupta

Manchester United Opinion: Why Wilfred Ndidi will be a top fit at United?

Back in April 2018, the Daily Mail claimed Manchester United were one of the Premier League clubs interested in Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi.

Wilfred Ndidi, 22, has established himself as one of the hottest midfield prospects in the Premier League with his consistent displays for Leicester City over the past two seasons. But it is quite fascinating that the Nigerian international doesn’t get the praises he deserves.

The midfield powerhouse has played 32 games in the league, scoring two goals so far this season. Ndidi has again impressed in Leicester colours which should prompt Manchester United to reignite their interest and sign him in the summer.

Manchester United have given the manager’s job to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a permanent basis until June 2022 and the Norwegian will be looking to bring back the glory days at the club with several key signings in the summer. The Metro claims Solskjaer is ready to offload as many as six players in what will be a massive summer overhaul ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

The 46-year-old will be handed significant funds to spend in the transfer window regardless of whether the team qualifies for Champions League next season or not. And Solskjaer wants to reinforce at full-back, centre-back, central midfield and wide midfield with funds raised from the sales of six players, adds the report.

As far as midfield is concerned, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata’s deals are expiring at the end of the season and while the duo are negotiating new deals, there’s little guarantee that either will stay. If Herrera and Mata leave, United will be left with Paul Pogba, Fred, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay as options in central midfield.

If Solskjaer’s red army are to compete with Manchester City and Liverpool for the title next season, they need to bolster their midfield options. They need a replacement for Matic as the Serb doesn’t quite fit Solskjaer’s style of play at Old Trafford. That being said, Wilfred Ndidi would be a straight upgrade for Matic.

Ndidi is a midfield general who can be destroyer, dictator of the game and score long-range belters for his team. An excellent tackler, the Nigerian reads the game very well and positions himself accordingly to snuff out the danger before it turns bigger. He is a very good passer of the ball and knows to keep things simple when required.

Verdict
The former Genk man will be fantastic for United, who need a disciplined, composed engine-room technician to break up play and dictate the flow of the game. Hence, the Red Devils should do everything in their powers to sign Ndidi in the summer.

He was on trial at West Ham like a week ago

I personally would not be putting that information in the public domain. A player on trial at this time when the season is coming to a close.

Has not been signed yet it is not certain. It's just unnecessary pressure and undue publicity.

Not wise in my opinion.

I know West Ham and I have dealings with them not been too impressed with the recruitment team too many underhand dealings.

I foresee omeruo joining a bigger team in laliga next season

Dennis is likely to leave with Torino interested

Esiti have been linked with a move to sporting lisbon

Okereke is certain to join a serie A club

Onyekuru have a lot of suitors and I will prefer he moves to the Bundesliga preferably Dortmund who have penciled him down as sancho's replacement rather than running back to everton

Collins may get promoted with Paderborn and if that doesn't happen he will surely have offers from the bundesliga

Ajayi at worst will remain in the championship if the Norwich move doesn't happen

I have no idea of an interest from any epl team for etebo but have interest from Galatasaray already

Mikel have done enough in the championship and some epl clubs will difinently take a gamble on him

Onuachu is likely to leave but his destination is unknown for now

Simy likely to return to serie A

I don't see Ajayi getting into the EPL and it will not be surprising if he stays in league one. However some of the typical kick and rush teams in the Championship may consider him a prospect if he goes for a good price.

I agree that this is too late for the Jamboree.

At under 20 level, most players are unproven. Mikel Obi was unproven at under 20. They are young pros just carving a path for themselves.

There are some talented lads here. Nnamdi Ofoborh is highly rated and has made the bournemouth bench , a few times this season. The Dele-Bashiru brothers are highly rated.

That doesn't necessarily mean outstanding quality particularly in a club like Bournemouth.

I haven't watched him play once or asked any of the coaches at Bournemouth about him. So it's not a conclusion just a general statement.
