Thegoodjoe said otherwise.

"It was a big chance for him. The ball was there and it was on his good side. But it wasn't to be. He got himself in the position ... I felt we would have deserved that at least."....Brendan Rodgers!

It wasn't to be, not it must be or the end of the World. Missing is part of the game.

Nacho should keep his head down and keep working hard. As long as he is training hard in such system, when he gets a run of games in such system, he will flourish. I have no doubt.

As Rodgers said, he got himself into that position. Many will not understand the work behind the scenes because they are only obsessed with results, not the process.

We have one match till the end of the season before Iheanacho is probably shipped off

Stop hiding your head in the sand

For a guy that had one Epl goal this season, the 'soaking up' didn't pay off

If Rodgers wants to ship off Nacho, it is not the end of the World. Wolfsburg benching and shipping off Osimhen turned around to be a blessing for him. So that one is not a problem.

Manchester United shipping off Forlan led him to a lowly Villarreal where he became the best striker in the World.

Juventus shipping off Thierry Henry was a blessing when he landed Arsenal and became one of the best players in the history of the game.

Nacho was not with Rodgers all season, so your point does not add up.

I wonder what you people are saying?

Rodgers said Nacho supposed to have converted the chance because it was on his left side. Not saying it is compulsory to bury the chance.

Rodgers never said it was an easy chance as you tried to make it. A good chance, yes but lots of players miss good chances. Sterling missed a good chance yesterday.

It happens.

At least, Rodgers has told you Nacho is working very very hard. That is the most important and contrary to the image most of you are trying to project.

He should had scored. That's the point Rodgers made.

Nacho has been with Rodgers for 7-8 games, is the soaking up going to last for 30 matches?

Not when you have one goal season as a striker and you miss an open chance to equalize for your team

Aguero missed two penalties in one Match against Steaua Bucharest. Nacho's chance was more difficult than penalties and that was not the end of Aguero.

Missing is part of the game.

Problem with Nigerian football is we don't look at the collective. You could do 100 things right but do one wrong and still be considered a failure. This is not what football is about.

So after 'soaking up' Rodgers will ship him to another team where he will start to 'soak up' under a new manager?

Nacho needs a run of games to get the impact and it takes more than 7-8 games to pick up the system. It is not Choosing ball.

What has he been doing before Rodgers came, on holidays? On injuries?

Why did Ndidi not need those runs to get going under Rodgers, why did Choudbury an academy graduate impress on his first two matches under Rodgers

Make una dey defend with sense abeg

Saying I am not serious does not give your point gravity. Shipping off is not the end of the World but I doubt Rodgers will shift Nacho off because he has first hand knowledge of Nacho's quality working with him in training every day.

Even Vardy had a rough patch under the conservative systems, talkless of someone without a steady run of games.

Rodgers has knowledge of Nacho's qualities and has played him for a measly 400 minutes in 10 matches

He sure displayed his qualities when he missed a begging chance to equalize for his team

Vardy is a top class player and Rodgers will not pull out Vardy just to give Nacho a run of games. Football does not work like that.

Guardiola rates Gabriel Jesus highly but hardly gives him a run of games. Foden was absolutely good yesterday but has found game time difficult to come by.

It is football.

We have had this argument over and over, Rodgers does not need to remove Vardy to play Iheanacho

Vardy had been on the field for many measly minutes given to Iheanacho

You are the twisting the argument. Nacho is kept on the bench by Vardy but you are bringing up Ndidi and Choudbury which is totally off tangent.
