Fans have not been impressed with season 8 of GoT so far. Overhyping and over expectations don kill expectations finish. Hehehe
It's because it feels rushed and to think just two episodes are left. They should have given this season more episodes. Probably the last two episodes will make up for the season as a whole but as for me ever since I watched the third episode, I've turned my attention towards waiting for the season finale of Mr. Robot. At least that one has not disappointed me as much as GoT.

It's rare to see a remake outperform an original, but Dredd achieved this without breaking a sweat. It improved the storylines, and added more gore. It's basically The Raid, but with guns.

Of the two Total Recall flicks, which was better or which did you prefer?..The first one was Arnold Schwarzenegger & the second one was Colin Farrell.

Meanwhile, Infinity War: Endgame is now officially the SECOND HIGHEST grossing movie of all time! The MCU epic is currently grossing $2.194B! Wow! It's gonna happen folks. Endgame is gonna smash the world record. It's official now.

That hype surrounding it will make it the highest grossing movie of all time. Just watch, it'll beat Avatar's record very easily and in a record time for that matter.

The remake got many things wrong. For starters, it took away Mars, and the strangeness that comes with it. It also took away the mutants, their side of the story, and the plight. In fact, they removed all those nice little moments that made the original a memorable adventure. It's almost as if the guys who wrote this remake didn't really understand the first movie. They utterly butchered everything.

However, if you can pretend the remake is an original production, and file away the flaws, it is an entertaining watch. I liked both, but I much preferred the original.

the raid with guns? Nah. It's more like the punisher legalized. Dude obviously got no chill whatsoever. Men I could literally feel his rage and I don't give a damn attitude when I was watching the movie.

Not only the hype, but it delivered. It's one thing to hype a movie and another thing for the said movie to deliver. Endgame came through big time. Avatar's record is in jeopardy.

Have you seen The Raid? It's practically the same plot line. The law hunting a kingpin in a very big building with many floors. Kingpin sending his croonies to stop the law. The law fighting back. The law eventually making it to the top floor. The law killing the kingpin. It's The Raid with guns.

According to an article I read yesterday via reddit, fans haven't been impressed with how things have transpired so far;

The almighty Night King getting killed by a kitchen knife, Dany being made to look weak and desperate, etc.

I agree, i have been complaining about it in the GoT thread.

The showrunners went for the unusual and its affecting the show.

Guess the end is always disappointing.

Not at all. Breaking Bad best season was it's final season. There are shows that save the best for the last.

GoT writers tried a curveball that didn't curve the way they wanted, I guess. Hope they can savage the season with the remaining episodes, else it will be an anticlimactic way to end an epic adventure.

You're so very right, i also enjoyed the original more than the remake. The remake would have been much better, if it were an original production, even if it were to be branded cliché.

Strong season 1-4, good season 5-6, bad season 7. Jury is still out on season 8.

Not exactly what I would describe as "the bomb".

the story board is too dense thats why I feel they had to take out the Knight King early, Game Of Thrones is so unpredictable that its one of the few seasonal movies you find in football betting site ( at the time of shooting season 7 it was on 1xbet, I even saw a betting odd on Bet365 last month for Danny to join the White Walkers), thats why its the bomb for me.
No one gets spared (except for Jon that cheated), and there little or no wasted episodes.

GOT has set a very high standard so its natural to have a few dips here and there.

Arnold Schwarzenegger one for me, if they had access to the kind of Visual effect we had now, it would have been streets ahead of the remake. The first one was all about saving a planet, the second one was more of a personal affair.

Spot on, this was suppose to be the base of the movie.

Its only a fool that believes there is no God, the religion that sets you on the right path to meet the real maker is what should be up for Debate.
Am a christian but am not so sure of the Christianity anymore because there is nothing Christ like from what i have been seeing of late.
All i know is Jesus Christ is real because both Judaism and Islam that are not Jesus Christ fan admitted he existed that is enough proof already, but the religion that Jesus belongs to is something like an enigma now.

Describing Islam as not being a fan of Jesus Christ is not correct. Islam however have some disagreement with some description and/or account of Jesus Christ in the Christiandom. For example, he is neither son of God nor God rather, he is a messenger of God like others like Moses, David, et al. Islam also does not subscribe to the purported killing of Jesus among others. Jesus (Issa) is one of the numerous prophets that a Muslim should believe in and among the top 5 of the prophets.

Am I the only one who feels the death race Franchise wasn't properly set??. I seriously think the first death race by Jason Statham ought to be the sequel while the main sequel by Luke Goss ought to be the very first movie in the franchise.
The plot for both flicks should've been something like this.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
In the second flick, on the second race, Luke's car malfunctions (sabotage) and crashes after being hit with a missile fired by Big Bill (who is later killed by his navigator after he killed his pit crew), Luke's pit crew arrives (including Katrina) and tries to save him, but it is too late(although he didn't die)...This is were the movie should have ended & this is were the one of Jason Statham ought to have began. Because basically Luke would have been in the hospital recovering, & since the show needs another Frankenstein to fill Luke's shoes, Statham, a very good driver on the outside had to be framed for the murder of his wife, so that he can come pick up from were Luke stopped, with the promise of his "supposed" freedom, serving as a motivation to him.

This is what happens when these people try to get too intricate, they should have just kept Frankinstien alive and focus on the gore and enough bad guys to get through to.
They should have kept the mask on, this can give them flexibility for any twist they want.
But I don't see this franchise going far, I would prefer Mad Max.
