Bro let's talk about the 7 awards:
What qualifies an award to be accepted? I believe there should be something they actually look out for
Any that summarily explain your achievements and how you stand from others but some panelists could be strict, saddists and extremely wicked and will find reasons to rubbish anything you presented especially awards that were not earned at University level.

OK I get you..... I can imagine those with physical awards would need to go with a sac of plaques smiley wink smileyand obviously cash awards without proofs cannot be presented

Seriously, lol. That's how a member of my panel disqualified two awards from high school. I just didn't bother to argue. angry

Not all that are true bro. No one is expecting results July! when will we apply for school then, when many schools ends admission latest June.

we are expecting our results this month or highest early next month!!! That was how it happened last year, the Ger, Fra, and China sees theirs ending of May and UK's early June. Officially, PTDF released it on their portal early June, but many have received their Congratulatory emails before then. However, induction would come like ending of June, early July just like last year.

Cheers, All the Best to us. Success is ours by God Grace.

Is the interview done according to individual's time slot or randomly?

The interview is according to your time of arrival, ..it is on a first come, first serve basis.

I was slated for 12pm noon on Friday....I arrived the venue 11:30am .........met a lot of candidates on ground .....I finally got interviewed by 4pm ....

The interview is a 2 stage process:

step 1: upon arrival , you will go for a clearance in their ICT room where you will be expected to submit your invitation letter .....They will then enter your application ID on their computer system to confirm that you were invited for the interview, also confirm your interview date, time and venue.

step 2: upon confirmation, you will then be ushered to sit inside one large AC enabled hall...so that your brain will cool off ....your seat position will be according to your time of arrival .....so they will keep calling in candidate one by one ...until it gets to your turn.

Got to the interview centre by 8am to meet 5 serious looking men and 1 lady at the reception. I could feel the tension in the air. Lol. I decided to break the ice by telling jokes and I successfully got everyone laughing and chatting within a little time.
By about 9.30am, the PTDF staff came to address us, and wish us the very best, after which accreditation commenced. It was already 10am by that time. We went in with our printouts, and were "clocked" in.
I was the first in environmental group to be ushered in. They asked me why I wanted the scholarship, I said because I loved research, and hopefully with the PTDF scholarship, I would be able to carry our quality research.
I was then asked to speak on my proposed research, which I did (I had crammed the sequence a night before, lol). There were 2 men and a woman on the panel. The next thing the woman asked me was why I wanted to do my research abroad since my study area and sample site was in Nigeria. I hadn't thought about that earlier. I told her because of the availability of facilities in the foreign country, of which she replied with "that's not true, we also have the facilities and equipments here in Nigeria" lol.
My award and journal were not accepted because I hadn't uploaded them when the site was active. Hard luck, because I think I read here that some people's were considered despite not having uploaded earlier.
I am more than grateful for the opportunity to have attended the interview (didn't even imagine I would be shortlisted) I really learnt a lot today. Truth is, in life you win some and lose some. So, I'm keeping an open mind. If God chooses to favour me with this scholarship, I wouldn't mind, but if not, we keep moving!!!

grin grin ;DSo I did mine this morning with a panel of 3 professors....
1. My O level result was graded.
2. For your publications to be accepted they must have been published in a particular journal site (they actually mentioned the site but can't remember because one of the panel members said they can't grade my publications)
3. The big one...your SOP will be accepted and graded ONLY IF they think it is relevant.... I had a few battles on this beginning with the topic.

They didn't print any of the documents we uploaded so you have to take your SOPs along (at least 3 copies)

I took along 4 awards and all were accepted. I told them about the cash awards to make the 5th but couldn't present any evidence.

I was asked where I work and after my response I was asked why I wouldn't be able to sponsor myself grin since scholarships are meant for the less privileged.... (that caught me unawares but I said something)

We were 8 engineering candidates for PhD and all 8 were present.... Other disciplines also had an average of about 8 too....but different panels.

Such kind of scholarship scheme may be very helpful for students because it give many opportunity to students for continue their further studies as well as also support students by giving financial help. I would also like to help students by telling them about the Strategic Partnership Scholarship whom I am also serving nursing assignment help - http://www.assignmenthelpfolks.com/nursing/ as I am assignment writer of trustworthy consultancy Assignment Help Folks. So they can also take advantage of it and doing their further studies.
