bazooka1: Guardiola used invention to solve his left back problem after Mendy got injured. He brought unbelievable quality in Zinchenko and Delph, not like they were the best he wanted. It is very logical, I do not need to explain this. This is like asking why did Liverpool buy Firmino when they had Origi. 1 Like |

EmmGee: Sancho wanted out too. Pep Guardiola has accused Jadon Sancho of reneging on a verbal agreement to sign a professional contract with Manchester City, but admitted the England Under-17 winger will have more chance of playing first team football at Borussia Dortmund this season. Sancho rejected an eye-watering £30,000 a week offer from City to join Dortmund last week in a projected £10 million deal, but Guardiola claimed the club could not have done more to try to keep one of their outstanding academy prospects. Guardiola said he had “shaken hands” with Sancho on a deal that would have made him the club’s highest paid academy player only for the 17-year-old to tell him he wanted to leave City before the club’s pre-season tour of the US, which prompted the manager to omit the youngster from the travelling party. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/09/08/pep-guardiola-left-puzzled-jadon-sanchos-decision-leave-manchester/amp/ 1 Like |

Lol..... Let me say what nobody has said here, the Egyptian team is average. Take away Salah and they are below average, I doubt they will see AFCON finals. This isn't El Hadji's set and they aren't as talented man for man, their coach certainly isn't as brilliant as that Egyptian coach back in the day No AFCON for Salah. I'd rank Senegal, Morocco and even CIV ahead of them. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: Plus home advantage, Egypt will reach semi-finals at best. And since the lovely VAR will be applied at some point, man made magomago will reduce drastically |

TheGoodJoe: Yet he's perennially linked to more left backs. One would have thought since Zichenko and Delph have become world class he will stick to them. Remember, my initial comment was that Klopps have had more impact and I still stand on that. The man took over from Rogers when they were in 10th place, today they have become monsters. Same can't be said of Pep. |

safarigirl: Var will increase magomago, it affords referees time to speak with the powers-that-be on what decisions to make |
