Even without attempting what he just did b4 the election, it still took inconclusive election plus massive rigging for him to win. Ganduje was terribly scared before the election especially after Kwankwaso pulled that massive crowd at PDP's rally. His defeat would have be a done deal if he had gone after Sanusi before the election, and he knew that.

Jonathan didn't do anything extraordinary against Sanusi. He only sent him on terminal leave I think about 3-5 months before when his tenure should have ended. There is no biggie there. Sanusi's tenure would still have ended that year.

The issue of Ganduje being scared of Sanusi is a big lie,he intentionally ignored Sanusi, and it's not in their culture to disrespect their Emirs.

Concerning CJN,Onoghen was removed due to illicit money traced to his account, and NJC confirmed it as well,when the custodian of constitution trampled on the same constitution so hard, the worse form of corruption is that of judiciary, so Buhari did a wonderful job there.

Isn’t it funny how politics has degraded the OS of some commenters? They are fast to tie everything to Buhari-Jonathan instead of the reality of the matter at hand. Some supporting mediocrity of just four or eight years and forgetting the ripple effects which may last more than 100years if not properly handled. The politicians has really tried in their impoverishment of some mindsets. We can only pray for their liberation.

Sanusi sacked owners of banks, was it within his powers as CBN Governor to do so?

What were these so-called Bank owners doing with the bank's funds they were entrusted with by their customers?

Did Sanusi's actions restore public and investor confidence to the banking sector?

As much as I may have had my reservations about Emir Sanusi (who is far from perfect, flawed as any one of us) during his tenure as the CBN Gov (especially towards the end), I personally know that his actions helped sanitise that industry. And upon his ascending the throne of Emir, he has arguably been the lone voice calling for progressive change in the North. If you understand Nigeria, you will understand that North Nigeria as it is currently populated is and will continue to be a massive stumbling block for Nigeria. I do not care much for his politics but on the social side and what he is pushing for in the North, he has my respect.

We ought to be standing together and condemning corruption, electoral violence and anything that is retrogressive in nature. But as you can see the problem with Nigeria and some Nigerians is we often leave the message and focus on the messenger. We often prefer to settle scores than stand with the truth. We are who we have always been and will remain this way, I dont even see a way out of this anymore. We are fractured beyond repair I swear.
