Dany didn't get the dothraki due to her dragons... Viserion and rheagol were still chained when she got the army, drogon had fled off..
Go back to the series, she came out of the fire unburnt and they all bowed to her, that's how she got it

For the unsullied, she didn't get them because of that, drogon was still even small as at that time, she bought the unsullied and freed them... Then asked them to follow her, not because of any dragon

Not a plothole to me also, more like plot armour. Yeah, Drogon is the strongest dragon but a lot of things about that scene seem off. It was well criticised.

They should have made Rhaegal die in the last episode. More plausible that way.
