andrew444:That's why I rate him ahead of Pep. Guys like Rose, Alli, Keane, Tripper, Son where virtually unknown before working with Pochetino while Luca Moura was a caste off at Psg, Wayama and Sissoko were playing in small Premiership clubs, the less said about Llorente the better. I have respect for people who achieve results with limited reasourses. It is a trait of sound leadership and good management. |

chrisooblog: The reason Klopp had to spend that much on a goalkeeper and a defender was because the likes of city and PSG have inflated the transfer market! Check how much Klopp spent at Dortmund and how much he achieved with them.. He inherited a shitty squad from Rodgers.. He needed his own players to rebuild the team and that involved spending money...if Roma had asked for 200m for Alisson, Klopp would have paid it....if Southampton had asked for 500m for Van Djik, he would have paid it. he needed those players... Unlike Pep that spent £60m on Mahrez to use him as a back up player, Klopp doesn't spend big on players he doesn't need in the starting eleven.. 1 Like |

rodgers almost won the league with players such as mignolet, mamadou sakho, ageing kolo toure, lucas, joe allen with a sprinkling of quality like gerard, suarez, sturrigde so much for shitty squad. mahrez was supposed to make an instant impact it hasn't quite worked out pep continued to worked unlike some coaches that will blame the failure to sign one miserly defender (maguire of all people smh) as the reason for squad imbalance Danielnino00: |

bazooka1:Pls let's be balance. I love Pochetino and Kloop, in fact I will be sad because one of them will lose the final. Let's not reduce the excellent work Guardiola has done with this man city team. If money could buy success, them Mourinho won't have been sacked. He deserves real credit spending well. Another part you are downplaying is how he has improved almost every player of his squad. Perhaps Pochetino will have been sacked if he was in a bigger team because he has not won anything at Tottenham, now that's the pressure that comes with coaching a bigger team. That's why I rate him as a top manager, spending money is not an issue spending it well is the main thing....nobody is talking about how much VVD was bought, because it has proved to be money well spent unlike Pogba. Moreover Guardiola has never broken the transfer record not forgetting the outstanding work he did at Barcelona. If you love pure football, you will love Guardiola's team. 4 Likes |

chrisooblog: pep is the best coach at the moment but let's not act as if money has not played a role in his successes at city. any good manager will once in a while win the league with city but pep is doing it in grand style that's what differentiates him from the rest. do you think pep would have achieved much with 70m transfer budget to start with? |

bazooka1: I know son from his Leverkusen days Lucas has always been a good player ,psg get their own for Body sha Lucas has been good since São Paulo days ,he and Neymar was the best player in Brazil league while Neymar playing at Santos ,Lucas was purchased at 45 million euros 7 seasons ago to psg at age 20 ,that should tell you the level of player he is Wanyama was a beast at Celtic ,sissoko and wijnaldum was Newcastle best player back then . I will not rate him ahead of pep ,pochetino has not won any trophy,he was supposed to win the Epl ahead of Leicester then because the Epl bigger boys where weak that season ,pochetino said his biggest moment was escaping relegation with espanyol ,maybe it will be changed after last night win against Ajax Pochetino is good but I won't rate him ahead of pep . |

of course money plays a role if not why do all the top coaches always go to top teams to prove themselves buying expensive players? why kloop didn't he join burnley or cardiff or brighton to prove his coaching ability? pocchentino should also have remained at southampton to show he can succeed without spending money Bunique: 2 Likes |

andrew444:How do you mean you knew Son? You knew him as a world class player or you knew him as just another player in Bayern Leverkusen? Lucas Moura lost his way at Psg. He was totally a caste off at Psg. Wasn't even making the bench under Unai Emery. The revival in his career is no thanks to Pochetino? Come on. |

RichardKajola: You don't get my point do you? I have never said anything to discredit Pep as a good coach. I think he's brilliant but I have always maintained the Klopp has made more impact judging from where he picked up LIVERPOOL and and having to spend moderately to build until last season when the club built up cash reserve and invested heavily to match city. If you had followed my argument, you will find out I have always maintained this point. Guardiola on the other was given a blank check by City. Infact the main reason he joined Man city in the first place was because they promised to make cash available to him for whatever he wanted with no limits. |

bazooka1: If you ask most famous football pundits, managers and players, many will rate klopp above guardiola. Its not rocket science. I doubt guardiola will agree to coach Inter Milan for exa.ple because they wouldn't give him that much financial backing. His spending notwithstanding, he has not been able to reach the champions league final not to talk of winning it. #SMH |

bazooka1: If liverpool got blank check they will give it to klopp, liverpool has been desperate to win trophy from Rodgers days and they have spend what they have, mancity is a richer than Liverpool. For Klopp to buy a defender of 75 million should tells you alot, if liverpool have the money they will give klop a blank check, van dijk was a risk at that buy but it has already paid of, which big team buys a a defender from Southampton for 75 million 1 Like |

Danielnino00: Klopp should not be spending 60 million for allison, allison is good but its way too much, this got nothing to do with psg and mancity If klopp should scout bundesliga he will get a goal keeper for 30 million Now how much did arsenal buy brand leno in the same season mancity and psg has spoiled the market according to you |

darkelf: Which football pundit will rate klopp ahead guardiola? Maybe the british pundit who are always bias Jurgen klopp has lost 2 european finals with Liverpool,i am sure if guardiola has done that the english will call him a failure because they hate him( I am not saying klop is a failure o ) incase you are thinking so Has tottenham not also reach the champions league final without spending for the past 18 months? Didnt unai emery won the europa league ahead of klop with a cheap sevilla team so because of that i should say unai emery is better than klop abi? Why will guardiola coach crappy inter millan? I will bet you that if klop coach inter millan he will not win seria A with their squad as far as he is using those guys and juventus is still in that league With all the money man united spend why are they yet to win the epl? Ranieri won the epl with a cheap leicester and an unknown vardy a cheap ngolo kante shebi klop was at liverpool then so he is better than klop and others manager abi? 3 Likes |

Bunique: I already stated clearly that the current state of the market requires sound investment and brilliant decision making. However, I doubt if Emery had Guardiola's kitty, he would make such rise. Look at our performances in all competitions this season. Klopp would likely win the Champions league but he did not dominate at all fronts like Guardiola did. 1 Like |
