rodgers almost won the league with players such as mignolet, mamadou sakho, ageing kolo toure, lucas, joe allen with a sprinkling of quality like gerard, suarez, sturrigde so much for shitty squad.

mahrez was supposed to make an instant impact it hasn't quite worked out pep continued to worked unlike some coaches that will blame the failure to sign one miserly defender (maguire of all people smh) as the reason for squad imbalance

Mahrez was not even supposed to make an instant impact. Raheem was benched a lot in Pep's first season same as Bernardo. Every player takes time to gel and understand Pep's system.

Pls let's be balance. I love Pochetino and Kloop, in fact I will be sad because one of them will lose the final.
Let's not reduce the excellent work Guardiola has done with this man city team. If money could buy success, them Mourinho won't have been sacked.
He deserves real credit spending well. Another part you are downplaying is how he has improved almost every player of his squad.
Perhaps Pochetino will have been sacked if he was in a bigger team because he has not won anything at Tottenham, now that's the pressure that comes with coaching a bigger team. That's why I rate him as a top manager, spending money is not an issue spending it well is the main thing....nobody is talking about how much VVD was bought, because it has proved to be money well spent unlike Pogba. Moreover Guardiola has never broken the transfer record not forgetting the outstanding work he did at Barcelona.
If you love pure football, you will love Guardiola's team.

That is the question I asked them to mention one transfer record that Pep broke. Just one.

pep is the best coach at the moment but let's not act as if money has not played a role in his successes at city. any good manager will once in a while win the league with city but pep is doing it in grand style that's what differentiates him from the rest.
do you think pep would have achieved much with 70m transfer budget to start with?

Will any good manager once in a while win the league with RM? What about United? Then tell them to hire those managers as they can not seem to win anything.

I know son from his Leverkusen days

Lucas has always been a good player ,psg get their own for Body sha

Lucas has been good since São Paulo days ,he and Neymar was the best player in Brazil league while Neymar playing at Santos ,Lucas was purchased at 45 million euros 7 seasons ago to psg at age 20 ,that should tell you the level of player he is

Wanyama was a beast at Celtic ,sissoko and wijnaldum was Newcastle best player back then .

I will not rate him ahead of pep ,pochetino has not won any trophy,he was supposed to win the Epl ahead of Leicester then because the Epl bigger boys where weak that season ,pochetino said his biggest moment was escaping relegation with espanyol ,maybe it will be changed after last night win against Ajax

Pochetino is good but I won't rate him ahead of pep .

Everyone wants to pretend they were not here when Poch crashed to lowly Leicester. Had it been Pep we would have been hearing it over and over and over.

You don't get my point do you? I have never said anything to discredit Pep as a good coach. I think he's brilliant but I have always maintained the Klopp has made more impact judging from where he picked up LIVERPOOL and and having to spend moderately to build until last season when the club built up cash reserve and invested heavily to match city.
If you had followed my argument, you will find out I have always maintained this point.

Guardiola on the other was given a blank check by City. Infact the main reason he joined Man city in the first place was because they promised to make cash available to him for whatever he wanted with no limits.

Every time blank check yet you cannot justify why he refused to buy Pogba, Mbappé, Sanchez, Jorginho, Fred etc. Players he clearly wanted. You cannot explain why he converted Delph and Zinczenko to LBs when he could have just signed new LBs. LOL.

LOL, BTW he signed for City because they had been making plans to get him since 2011. They even hired the former Barca CEO just because they wanted him to lure Pep. Blank check ko.

Remind them of this and they say you hate pep. Like as if he withholds our salary. Its the fact. Pep success is largely due to the unlimited resources at his disposal. Let us see if he will do the same managing west ham or Villarreal.

Let us see if he will do well managing West Ham? Why did Klopp buy players then? Why? When his players were West Ham quality what did he win?

If you ask most famous football pundits, managers and players, many will rate klopp above guardiola. Its not rocket science. I doubt guardiola will agree to coach Inter Milan for exa.ple because they wouldn't give him that much financial backing.

His spending notwithstanding, he has not been able to reach the champions league final not to talk of winning it. #SMH

Of course you always talk without facts. Everything you said here is a bloody lie. How can you compare a manager with 3 or 4 trophies to another with 26 and counting? LOL.

If liverpool got blank check they will give it to klopp, liverpool has been desperate to win trophy from Rodgers days and they have spend what they have, mancity is a richer than Liverpool.

For Klopp to buy a defender of 75 million should tells you alot, if liverpool have the money they will give klop a blank check, van dijk was a risk at that buy but it has already paid of, which big team buys a a defender from Southampton for 75 million
Don't loud it. VVD was free. LOL

VVD wouldn't have cost 75 million if the transfer market wasn't blown apart by Man city. We are talking about a team who got Laporte with zero international French caps for £57 million.
By the way, Klopp got to the finals of the champions league with Dortmond on a shoe string. The man have proved himself to be top drawer. Pep with the mega bucks of Bayern was always disgraced out of the champions league.

All rubbish lies. Who did Pep buy when he won the sextuple?

Do you know why Laporte cost that much? Hahaha. That was his release clause. As soon as City met it, Bilbao had to sell. This was not "making them an offer they will not refuse" like Liverpool and Klopp did for VVD and Alisson. You people will lie about everything.

Hope you know laporte will start for almost all top teams and even most big national teams? and laporte was having issues with deschamps because of his double mind to play for spain, even till now he has no cap for spain, But the same laporte is one of the epl best defender alongside van dijk? he help mancity win the league last season when he arrived january, hope you know john stones and otamendi has been sent to bench because of this guy? but hope you know stones is an england international and he is a starter? but a non french starter sent him to the bench

You cant expect deschamps to bench Umtiti and Varane for laporte, Never

Did klopp win the finals he went to with Dortmund? na only person wey win final we dey know o despite all team want to play in the finals, na only who win am be achievement, liverpool was brillant last season but they end up winning nothing just because the lost to madrid in the final, madrid was crappy last season but winning the champions league final saved their season

Pep has also been disgraced out of the champions league in barca by bayern, hope you remember the 7-0 bayern beat barca, so loosing makes pep a bad coach abi? you are already using that to berate him..... smiles

Take note Peo was the coach of Barca when they lost 7-0 to Bayern. The late Tito Vilanova was.

Klopp got Karius from that same Budendliga..which better keeper dy there ?

Klopp signed Andrew Robertson for a mere £8m from an already relegated Hull city team and turned him to a beast!
Pep is a genius, but Klopp is a bigger genius abeg...don't let sentiment over cloud your judgment

Every freaking soul knew how good Andrew was before he was signed. He was only cheap because Hull were relegated. Same as Shaqiri from Stoke City. Of course Klopp is a top manager but he had Moreno so why did he still buy Andrew going by the questions you people ask.

Talking as if Zinchenko whom Pep uses as LB was signed for 50M.

What's your point really? You're trying to prove that Larpote going for the amount he went for without being an international didn't inflate the market?

How could he inflate the market when that was his release clause?

Compare that to VVD who was sold to the HIGHEST bidder. You guys should lie with style abeg.

What has Klopp won, because he reached UCL final?

he knows how to harvest good young players...
he give young players the opportunity to prove themselves.
he is a coach like Diego Simone always with his players in the spirit when they play....

please can you help the super eagles get him?
