Chukwueze Finally Dumps Flying Eagles’ W/Cup For Super Eagles’ AFCON 12 May 9, 2019 11:29 am Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze will not be included in Nigeria’s squad for the 2019 FIFA U -20 World Cup in Poland, Completesports.com reports. Chukwueze, 19, is among the overseas-based players listed for the competition by Flying Eagles head coach Paul Aigbogun , but the player appeared not too keen to feature in Poland. Instead, he is looking to represent Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after impressing on his debut in the friendly encounter against the Cranes of Uganda last year. His Spanish club, Villarreal, have made it known that the former U17 World Cup winner will only be allowed to take part in one of the two competitions. Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr stated earlier this week that he was still in a dilemma on whether to include the youngster in his AFCON squad or allow him feature at the U-20 World Cup. Media Officer of the Flying Eagles, Andrew Randa has however put the matter to rest by stating Chukwueze won’t be part of the Flying Eagles squad to the U-20 World Cup which will start later this month in Poland. “Point of correction. Chukwueze specifically requested to be invited for the U20’s. He wasn’t in the mix originally. I can also confirm to you that he won’t be in Poland. Cheers,” Randa stated in response to a follower on his Twitter handle. Chukwueze has enjoyed an impressive debut season with Villarreal since breaking into the club’s first team. He has scored eight goals in 37 appearances across all competitions. By Adeboye Amosu https://www.completesports.com/chukwuez 1 Like |

Man City, Everton & Watford Starlets Depart Nigeria U20 Training Camp After Bad Treatment By Coaches; Agent Emeka Ezeala's Son Loitering Around Published: May 09, 2019 Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that four talented English-based youngsters have voluntarily departed the Flying Eagles' Monarch Hotel in Bad Gogging, Germany, despite the fact that the Flying Eagles chief coach Paul Aigbogun has yet to announce his 21-man roster for the World Cup in Poland. While Everton winger Korede Adedoyin, Manchester City midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Shelley Community FC's Mashkur Tagwai left this morning, Watford wonderkid Jayden Bennetts is believed to be on his way back to England. Daniel Toma, who plays for a club affiliated with West Ham Academy, is leaving the training camp tomorrow. The five players decided to decamp themselves after they were badly treated by coaches as they felt they were not given the chance to play in any of the three friendlies and don't look to be in the plans of Aigbogun for the U20 World Cup. There are suggestions that some players are bribing the coaches to guarantee their names being included on the 21-man roster and this does not come as a surprise as this website can confirm one hundred percent that the coaches were bribed for names to be included in the U20 AFCON squad. At that time, back in January, a roster spot costs approximately US$5,600 or two million Naira in Nigerian currency. Meanwhile, Ikenna Malcolm Ezeala, who is the son of Emeka Ezeala, the agent that arranged the Flying Eagles training camp in Germany has been seen loitering around in camp even though he is unlikely to make the squad list for the World Cup. The former Bayern Munich youth-teamer and Austria U16 international is costing Nigerian tax payers money as he is surplus to requirements, and should be sent packing. Most of these fancy guys you mentioned were not part of the team that got to the finals last season. He used academy players like Arnold, Gomez and the average Loovren to get to the finals. Get the picture? |

Eruditor: Sancho wouldn't have left if he knew he will develop as much as he thought with Pep in charge. His decision proved to be a masterstroke as Pep have £60m worth of talent in Mahrez rooted to the bench. You said Pep has improved Silva, Kdb, Aguero and Fernandinho? Improved them how? These guys have won the Premiership before Pep joined. You're just an average hack who know little about what he's talking about. |

Victor Osimhen: I feel flattered by AC Milan's interest in my services Futaa futaa.com | 2019-05-09 Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has told that he is humbled by the reports linking him with a summer move to Serie A club AC Milan. The former Golden Eaglets star was loaned out to Sporting Charleroi for the 2018/19 campaign and the said agreement is set to expire at the end of June. However, Osimhen has found himself having a breakthrough season at Charleroi finding the back of the net 16 times across all competition, and is garnering interest from AC Milan and Lille in France. Reacting to the transfer speculation, Osimhen said to La Capitale: ''I don't want to force anything, but I would like to be clear before the end of the season. Mehdi Bayat told me that there is a lot of interest and AC Milan's interest flatters me''. The striker added: ''At the end of the season we will see what the best choice is. Money is not important, but the plan of the club is important. I want to grow as a player first." The Ultimate Strikers product is in contention to be included in the Super Eagles squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and could also be called up to strengthen the Dream Team ahead of their qualifying matches against Sudan next month 1 Like 1 Share |

Less than two weeks before the start of the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup, allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Flying Eagles are embarking on a jamboree trip to Poland because they are not prepared for the tournament. The Paul Aigbogun-led side have been far from impressive in their three test games so far, drawing 3-3 with SC Freiburg U23s, losing 2-1 to Saudi Arabia and struggling to beat a younger age group, VfR Aalen U19s 3-1 in Wednesday's friendly. The Flying Eagles could not string five passes together in the friendlies and in training games, and the main problem with the team is that they are unable to create chances, not to talk of scoring. They were outplayed by VfR Aalen teenagers and were lucky to win the game after scoring twice in the second half. Their camp in Bad Gögging is in disarray, with several uninvited players not disclosed to the public showing up in camp. Paul Aigbogun should carry the blame for the Monarch Hotel overflowing with players because he knew the identities of eighty percent of the players heading to the World Cup even before the squad traveled to Germany for the training camp. In other news, Bournemouth midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh is the latest English-based player on the books of a Premier League club to depart the training camp, joining Everton's Korede Adedoyin, Manchester City's Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Watford's Jayden Bennetts. Ofoborh has claimed he needed to go back to his club ahead of their final match of the season vs Crystal Palace on Sunday, May 12. 1 Like |

Aigbogun is a big Mistake. He's becoming a Doom to the growth of Nigeria Football in the future. U20 is meant to unravel Talents, to discover Gems, it's actually not about winning, but identifying Talents for the Future. Many FBs are willing to don GWG, ready to represent their Father's Land, yet they are being driven back or frustrated to leave. If they turn out to be Alabas, then we will be rolling Red Carpets to enticing them again. Aigbogun should be dismissed after the Tournament. Chuks is right to have opted out, and rather choose to play in the AFCON. Aigbogun is a big Disappointments, but what baffle me most are; what's NFF Technical Board doing? Aren't they aware of the Mess?! What of Pinnick Led Executive..... Or are they expecting to get some cutouts during after the Tournament Picnic?! Shame of NFF! 2 Likes |

Ex-Chelsea Youth Team Playmaker Olise Named Reading FC Scholar Of The Year Published: May 09, 2019 Former Chelsea youth-teamer Michael Olise has been named as Reading FC's Scholar of the Year following his outstanding season for the Royals teams. The 17-year-old was awarded the Maurice Edelston trophy on the Madejski Stadium pitch on Sunday, May 5. Olise, who is a first-year scholar at Reading, was rewarded with a first team debut off the bench against Leeds United on March 12 before making his full debut against Oghenekaro Etebo's Stoke City four days later. He featured for Reading's U18, U23 and first-team over the course of the 2018-2019 campaign, the only player to do so this term. The playmaker appeared in 28 games across all competitions for the U18 and U23 squads, scoring three goals, including a brilliant left-footed free-kick against Cambridge United in the FA Youth Cup. Olise joined Reading Academy at U15 level and penned a scholarship with the club in the summer of 2018. |
