FC Barcelona is just wasting Messi's talents and opportunities to win more awards, with all their useless players and coaching selections.

It was the most passive performance I have ever witnessed from a Barca team! And the most frustrating thing was to see the clueless coaching pacing around not knowing what to do.

Ernesto Valverde is a FRAUD masquerading as a coach angry sad shocked The man learned absolutely NOTHING from the first leg, whereas a real coach (Jurgen Klopp) made basic adjustments.

I'm also looking at Ozornwafor and Ogbu.

Yes, those players too.. But we have Awaziem, Ekong, Ajayi who are still pretty young. Uduokhai is likely to join after the nations cup too.

It might be harder to get into defence anytime soon.

Valverde fooled the board but he didn't fool us the fans

Look at the fitness levels, Liverpool were ready to play for 180 minutes but Barca were lackadaisical and weak, look at his in-match substitutions removing Vidal( the best player) for Alena

I want to forget about that match biko angry

I'm not looking forward to the u-20 world cup at all.. The last u-20 set that ever excited me was the 2005 set...

Even if we win the trophy this year,it won't matter in the long run cus it's obvious some players in the team won't last long...

Gbam.

They ask why we have turned the thread to Klopp vs Pep, champions league etc..

A the signs and rumours we have been hearing are disheartening to say the least

Ofoborh and Tom Dele Bashiru are midfielders.

Fisayo is on stand by, just in case.

okay better.
just feel pity for Aigbogun he has no dream for his coaching future other than to coach the national teams.

no Nigeria coaches dream of coaching an EPL, LA LIGA, SERIA A etc team in the future. .....reason why they indulge in corrupt scandal...

so painful....reason why they square round the national team job as if it is their birth right.

I am appalled that they still haven't fired him yet. The man is clueless about coaching …. I have never believed in him.

All in all, Jose Maria Bartimeou is the real problem with Barca!

also in the striking department with Oshimen and Awoniyi...also in the wings...
we have wingers...like Chuks, kalu, Dennis, Moses Simon etc....

our only problem was the midfield reason why I was happy for Dele Bashiru brothers...
hopefully we gets a good CM and AM from that under 20 team...we are covered...I trust rohr to extend calls and lure other foreign born players not called up on and who are good

I have already started. I have contacted JM Bartomeu and Eric Abidal, to recommend Erik ten Hag as the next Barca manager. But I am not holding my breath that they gonna listen because the current Barca board is useless.

I even signed a petition to sack Bartomeu as early as last year but it all amounted to nothing

We'll just watch, if they can appoint Eric ten Haag I can forget about the board, bunch of corrupt slimes angry

He should remain in Middlesbrough...
I expect the club management to recruit him into the club backroom department when he retires...
after the Afcon I don't see him playing football for the next 3-4 years.
so he should stay back in Middlesbrough

Bad advice from you, mikel should remain in boro doing what?

So when a player is 32 means retirement?

The Board is useless. They even re-elected Bartomeu. I wonder how much he paid them grin

As per Ten Hag, I am not holding my breath. I won't be surprised if they give it to Xavi sef. That's the rumor I have been hearing since yesterday. They think that they have found their own Zidane, but everyone is not Zidane. And in addition, Zidane had several years of experience coaching junior teams before he took over Real.

What did he do with Jason Denayer? The Belgian is currently one of the best young centre backs in Europe, a giant in the Lyon team who coincidentally defeated Man City in the Champions league. Jason is currently valued at £40m, while Pep got him sold for just 6M.

it's okay.

what I meant was that for the club to give him the captain arm band means they regard him in high esteem...they see him as a player with so much influence and motivation both in the field and in the dressing room....

we need to start grooming coaches too...not just players...
I was happy recently when I read Osaze desire to go into coaching...and he will be starting that in Europe.

how many of our ex internationals are really good coaches...that can be recommended to European clubs.

not a bad thing we see Mikel grow to become an assistant coach in an English team someday.... he will help him stay close to his family, provide for the family after retirement and also contribute to Nigeria's progress in the future...

I see that he will be a good manager...
who says Middlesbrough won't gain promotion come next season...

I will like it if he stays there and help the team...they really respect him.

just remember John Terry who choosed to go to Aston Villa and today he is a member of their back room staff....

mikel needs to start thinking of the future...he has virtually won all competition in the English football..he is approaching the time he needs to give back to the system

Denayer is good but pep doesn't believes in him maybe ,all coaches got their preference and they can't favour all young players
