Well, he might be but I just don't want him to begin his coaching career with FC Barcelona senior team. Let him start by coaching the Youth team (U19 side) …. gotta learn how to walk first before you start running. O pari Earthquake2: |

Barryseal: Pep let Denayer go because he did not fit in what he wanted. Pep was not going to hold on to a talented young player and leave him on the bench. He already had the targets that suited what he wanted. Even if Denayer is worth a billion pounds, Guardiola would not sign him. So those who want Denayer can take him. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: I never ran down Klopp. He is a brilliant manager. I am intrigued by him but I will not rate him higher than Guardiola because Guardiola's teams have more synergy in play. I am against people trying to equate Guardiola's success to money and turning down the massive tactical input and training he has put in to transform the team. |

Eruditor: Precisely. The idea of play is way beyond Guardiola. Txiki Bergiristain was the one with the idea. Same with Ferran Soriano who is the top executive. They were brought from Barcelona to bring the philosophy to Manchester City. You are very right that Guardiola had a tougher task at hand to win playing brilliant beautiful footie. 1 Like |

Eruditor: I welcome technology into the game and with time, it will favor those who have been serially robbed for a long time. We just need to keep doing what we are doing. Playing beautifully and brilliantly. As long as we keep playing well, things will fall into place. 1 Like |

Icon79: If Xavi comes in, expect fireworks because he is massively brilliant tactically and understands the Barcelona way. He has mostly played for tactical geniuses and well schooled in the possession football. He grew up in the La Masia where the art of the beautiful game is put down. Xavi might need a bit of time to steady the ship but I can guarantee we will enjoy breathtaking football if he runs the training pitch of the Barcelona team. |

tbaba1234: Inspite of having a much better league than Nigeria, the US have their team composed of mostly European based players. Imagine, if we could lure some of our best youngsters in europe. Not just any youngster, the best of them to compliment any locally based talent. Even if we beat this US team, many of our players will be nowhere in a few years. 3 Likes |

What was the so called coaches that has coached a big team doing when zidane was winning 3 champions league on a roll ? Has guardiola coached a big team before his Barcelona success ? |

Humility017:We'll have a conversation with my people and see what comes up. I have a few options here and there, there's a lot of options, you always have to pick the right one and the way you play and what you want to achieve, "I still want to win trophies, I'll go somewhere where the players, the team, the fans, the staff, want to win." he's obviously still ambitious, I love his spirit only if other Nigerian players can think like this, ambition before money |

elyte89: Sad I have been blocked repeatedly, I would have shown you the link where I said Zidane would be a success at Real Madrid in January, 2016 when he was to take over Real Madrid. A player like Xavi is a player I have waited for years to coach. There are people I believe would excel as a coach even as I watch them as players. Maybe later I will try and post the link alone for you to read and see. 1 Like |
