Sacking Service Chiefs Won’t Solve Insecurity – Pastor Adeboye by Ikeboboafri: 1:45am On May 12, 2019 |
Pastor Adeboye who reacted to the insecurity crisis ravaging different parts of the country, stated that sacking the service chiefs won't solve the issue. Pastor who spoke at the headquarters of RCCG, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, during a Thanksgiving service with the theme, ‘Victory over marital storm’, stated that sacking the service chiefs won't solve insecurity as the country would only make appreciable progress after getting it right in leadership. Speaking through the Assistant General Overseer, Administration and Personnel, RCCG, Pastor Johnson Odesola, the RCCG General Overseer said; “I believe the service chiefs are working and aside from those that have attained their retirement age, they have been studying the situation of the country in terms of security and would have some plans they are working on. If they are just changed, the new service chiefs would have to start all over again. I believe in good succession plan whereby those to replace the current service chiefs would learn from the incumbents and only need to continue from where they stop.” https://unclesuru.com/2019/05/12/sacking-service-chiefs-wont-solve-insecurity-pastor-adeboye/ lalasticlala, seun, mynd44, dominique

service chiefs whom were paid billions of naira to secure the country and are unable to devise technichniques to cob crimes. we need intelligent educated people in government who have gone trough standard management and security traiing with genuine love for the country. nonsesense talk Adeboye, why do we have data, datas can easily be transferred to the new service chief and as a mater of fact we need a completely new techniques to fight crime in Nigeria. The rest of the world are using technology, data gathering and management, security cameras, justice, job creation, proper education, rehabilitation. these are all security security mechanisms |

This man has wisdom, how will sacking service chiefs end almajiri system which is the root cause of all the evil going on in the north since the matesine sect days, an untrained kid is a danger to the society in future and they seem to be getting worst from batches to batches. Slowly a Revolution would happen in Northern Nigeria, Uthman Dan fodio style of leadership would slowly be replaced with more open minded and accesible leadership style, some extreme cultural beliefs would slowly be replaced with a more liberal one |

This is absolutely true. If Americans relocate their 76 garrison to north east that wouldn't solve anything. |

When Mourinho turned terrible at Manchester United, they sacked him to appoint Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and they started having good results. So with Arsenal. In fact, every club. Why did they not say, "Sacking the head coach will change nothing"? Only a fool keeps repeating the same thing while expecting different results. These charlatans should start paying tax maybe they will have sense. |

Esseite: Lol, you lack knowledge of history of northern nigeria from violent jihadist era - through the many violent invassion into other southern territories - to volonteering to fight for Colonial soldiers in conquering Nigeria for them,to igbo mass masacre, to chadian invasion, to metasine sect of 1980s, to jos riot, to sharia riot , to miss world riot and recently buhari's loss in 2011 riot. all this shows how violent Northerners are on an average. They go around with dager and quick to stab you if you give them reasons to, its their culture and no amount of military might can change this, except the people themselves change the culture of violence. infact take a nuclear bomb up north and use it in fighting insecuirity , the dust may rise up but when it settles they would find another reason to go violent, even IDP became violent cos of free food coming late and they all most killed international helpers. In nigeria civil war , Nigerian army fought with air power , land forces and on sea, yet the war continued bloodily months after months until Awolowo suggested the total clossure of our Land, Air and Sea borders, nothing came in for biafra and nothing goes out.. slowly afer few weeks Biafra people were exhuasted and surrender.. similarly niger-delta militant battled our navy fiercely through out obasanjo's tenure and obasanjo returned with more fire power , he even leveled and killed everyone in a commuinity, but this didnt stop the militant until Late Yaradua gave them amnesty through a non violent non military, but welfare styled negotiation. my point of all this is very simple, military might cant end northern insecuirities they need better sensible approach |
