Even in societies that work well you will be concerned that the 'Resume' is just poor not to talk about a society that needs emergency surgery. If you were the owner of that institution, will you employ such a person after considering perhaps 5 dozen or so applications?

You simply cannot call it change when everything remains the same including the fortunes of that institution after she is done with it. If you find this alright I can imagine the qualifications and experience (aka competencies) of folks who work for you or who you permit to work for you. Stop supporting publicly what you cannot accept personally please. Don't let sentiment ruin your life.
