That's all they talk of how they grow the IGR. Who id talking of how the monthly income of the common man on the street has improved, who is talking of how many jobs have being created in the state between that period. In Advance society they would give you monthly unemployment ratio. And you would be able to see how many jobs were being provided monthly. But here it's all about how they are growing the IGR just to score cheap point. Let's see how such growth has impacted the individuals and the state as a whole.

And you, who made you a mouthpiece for Akeredolu's petty achievements in office? You must have benefited from the ethanol project or you wouldn't have been trumpeting this minor project from all the big revenue accruing to the state.

No mind that beggar, what about the big sum being shared from federal government monthly... All these useless youths that will be defending useless human beings, that's why we no gree move forward. Imgaine we start a movement now and this one is among, he will go behind and collect peanut and scatter the movement...

am sure u are in the south and not in the north. People do jobs over here and are happy with the little they get from their effort. Not everyone is greedy and wants the world as pay, that is how I have been managing the teachers. It is people who do not have televisions in their house that says televisions spoils the eyes. It is people who have nothing to give that think or believe that everything is a scam. Thanks though for ur mention. Regards.

So what exactly is he spending all that IGR on?

The people from whom the IGR is collected finally finally should be interested in the answer to that question instead of just bragging about my state's IGR is bigger than yours.
Is that not plain simple stupidity

The IGR when not accounted for properly reduces the monthly disposable income of the man on the street because he pays the IGR final final as the traders, companies etc will always pass on the cost as much as possible.
In advance countries the people are vigilant and concerned about their societies. Are we as concerned here
If we are not, what magic abi na miracle are we expecting? From who?

Ever seen Ondo cassava-ethano-starch plant? N1.5b is just $4m it means 12 months gives him $48m and after removal of wage bill, the remainder cant even buy a jet, so dont expect Ondo to compete with dubai, but be rest assured it works better than some kerosine sharing, statue building region

You're an irritating and a disgusting tribalist. What has the bolded got to do with the question asked? Why do you love fanning the flames of tribal hatred and bigotry here even when situations don't call for it?

In Nigeria,  the Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. will build a 65 million liter per year cassava-based ethanol plant in on 15,000ha provided by the government of Ondo State. Additional investors are expected to participate in the project with the NNPC in the lead, a project that it believes will create 1 million jobs and reduce processed fuel imports. The country is a major oil exporter but has limited domestic refining capacity, leaving it exposed to fluctuating energy markets like the rest of much of Africa.

https://www.biofuelsdigest.com/bdigest/2017/11/02/nnpc-to-build-65-million-liter-cassava-based-ethanol-plant-in-ondo-state/

James Sowole in Akure
The federal government has dedicated $30 million for the Cassava Ethanol Project at Okeluse in Ose Local Government area of Ondo State.
The project, which would be sited on 15, 000 hectares is between the Ondo State Government and the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The move by the federal government was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Agriculture, Mr Akin Olotu.
Olotu, spoke in Akure, Ondo State, during the dedication of five awards won by the officers of the State office of FADAMA III Project to the state government.

The governor’s aide, who commended the activities of workers under FADAMA III project for the awards, said the ethanol project would solve many problems that cassava farmers had been facing.

Olotu disclosed that the ethanol project was initiated by the administration of the Late Dr Olusegun Agagu but was abandoned.
He said the project was brought up again by the former Managing Director of NNPC, Engineer Funsho Kupolokun when the Economic Team was working on the Road Map to Progress at the take-off of the current administration.

Olotu said the ground breaking of the project would be done in November, adding that clearing of land for the project would start this week.
According to Olotu, the project would generate not less than one million jibs both directly and indirectly. He added that the project when on operation would bring Ondo State up that in the area of renewable energy.

Speaking earlier, the Coordinator of FADAMA III in Ondo State, Mr Olusiji Olatunji, said the successive administration in the state had been demonstrating commitment to the project.

Olatunji said Ondo is the only state that has paid its counterpart fund since 2007 to 2018.
He said it was the consistency of the government that excited the World Bank that had been supporting the state FADAMA project

Those are some of the links to the project. It's primarily an NNPC project. How much did Akeredolu's government commit to it?

I am not going to descend into your arena to trade vileness and insults with you. I do not have any issue with whatever you choose to post about Akeredolu or whatever, but please, grow up and quit this asinine ethnocentrism - you can not make a single sentence without finding a way to insert some ethnic slurs against the other ethnic group. What is the problem with you; would you honesty wish the upcoming ones look up to you and model their lives after yours, seeing that you've got nothing but bile and acrimony for other people. You may think you're catching fun and gaining notoriety on Nairaland, but I tell you, if you don't rein in yourself, it would be your end.

Down with the silly ethnocentric slurs!

Shalom.
