Many of them were just sad that their predictions did not come to pass, imagine self acclaimed analysts saying little finger is not dead, like duh, the only person that is allowed to wake up from the death bed is Jon and maybe the mountain. And speaking about logic, GOT has never been 100% logical I mean its a show where a woman who cannot be burnt flies dragons, a witch that cannot give correct prophesies resurrects a man and a girl can carve faces and cook people within a short time.

I don't think that the season has low ratings because "Many of them were just sad that their predictions did not come to pass". That has always been GOT from Season 1, predictions don't always come to pass. This is beyond that.

You don't have to be a fighter to be conferred with knighthood. During Robert's rebellion, Stannis, who was holding Storm's End, the traditional home of the Baratheons, faced a difficult siege that lasted half a year or so. He recruited Davos to help smuggle onion and salt into Storm's End during this period; and well, the Onion Knight did his thing .

Davos, thereafter was knighted by Stannis for his commitment and loyalty.
But what good did that noble act bring him? He lost two fingers to Robert's brother for his trouble - smuggling crimes.

You guys are missing a point from the trailer.....when euron greyjoy looked to the sky,he sensed the sounds of more dragons...infact more than four dragons....my prediction though.....take a look at the trailer

It's the sound of the Dragon. Dany and Drogon May probably be approaching from the skies and Euron cudnt see them but can hear the sound made by the dragon.

Atleast, you have to see what you want to shoot down.
Also, it may be that Dany want to give them a surprised attack if not Euron wouldn't be standing.

I remember back when in s01e02 when he implied that he knew that Jaime and Cersei were involved in Bran's fall from the tower. Cersei asked him whose side he was on, he replied:

"You know I would do anything for my family"

I also remember his look of concern when the Dothraki and Drogon were decimating the Lannister army in s07, even before Jaime charged at the wounded Drogon. The guy is very much still a Lion at heart.

He is called the Onion Knight.

The Tyrrell's laid siege on Storm's End during Robert's Rebellion and they would have starved to death if he had not found a way to smuggle onions to them.
Crazy Stannis still cut off his fingers as punishment though.

We fans are already used to having our theories disproved and our favorite characters killed, so I don't believe that that's the reason for the backlash. This season, we now have to watch interviews of the producers/directors to infer what really happened in a scene, like the "Dany kinda forgot about the Iron Fleet" comment by David Beinoff (like WTF?).

Or this one by the director of the last episode, David Nutter about Sansa ratting out Jon's secret.

Jamie won't kill cercei. It would be quite a stupid plot twist if the showrunners decide to go that route.

Cersei is carrying his baby, that should count for something. Killing her would also mean taking the life of his unborn child, something I don't think Jamie is capable of.

First I don't think Cercie is pregnant with Jaime's baby, her drinking wine and all. Also, Cercie is a pathological liar and would say anything as long as it profits her.

If Jaime kills her, it would be in line with the progression of the story.
