edon21: Bro, I know you might be honest Ive tried to ask the random number dude too many times. When exactly did the nuclear holocaust take place in Nigeria? Just look at the charred city. I am not going to believe that a city can look like that without a cause. For Nairobi to look that old and charred all Nairobians would have to blow dust collectively together at once. |

Breaking news, breaking news, breaking ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is news at 9:00 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Mr Stephen Ashitey Adjei, an executive member of the Tema East branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has denounced the treatment of the Ghana Police Service. He said their occupational hazards and conditions of service was a travesty justice and a big mismatch. Mr Adjei, popularly known as Mo Shake, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency on recent attacks on the police in various parts of the country said poor numerations accounted for low morale to fight crime. “How can you pay a Constable about GH¢ 800.00 a month and send him out to face armed robbers in the night? The poor remuneration that the Police endure is what constrains them to demand bribes,” Moshake said. The NDC executive member pointed out that poor remuneration was just a tip of the iceberg as there were other factors such as poor accommodation. “You only have to visit any Police barracks in any part of the country and see for yourself, there is practically no difference between the rooms that the Police occupy and the cells that they keep criminals in” According to him, the conditions of service of the Police personnel were more atrocious considering the fact that politicians enjoyed juicy salaries and luxurious conditions of service. “In addition to huge monthly salaries of not less than GH¢ 10,000 a month for Deputy Ministers, Politicians also enjoy ex-gratia when they leave office. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When article 71 office holders, including the President, retire, their benefits are more than the salaries that an average Police officer will take throughout his career. But the Police man who is paid an insult, is the one who guides the article 71 office holder and must brave dangerous situations, including skirmishes with armed robbers to ensure the safety of the big men.“This is not fair,” Moshake added. He called on government to as a matter of equity and fairness to scale up the conditions of service of the Police, starting with increment in their salaries as they go through so much emotional and psychological pain in attempt to access their pensions. The NDC executive member’s concern comes in the wake of the gruesome murder of a Police officer at Kwabenya by armed robbers who had carried out an operation to spring their colleagues out of a cell. Inspector Emmanuel Ashielevi was shot in cold blood at the station on that fateful night as the latest in a long streak of Police personnel who have fallen victim to murders at the hands of criminals, Mr. Ashilevi’s colleagues have since threatened to stage a demonstration against the government over the inadequacy of safety for Police officers. “The entirety of the Police conditions of service needs an overhaul”. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 3 Likes

TayserMahri:Your head won't be able to digest deep stuffs about Tz. But just ask itself... Why is tanzanite found only in Tz? Why is the highest mountain in Africa is only in Tz? Why do we have all Africa's 3 biggest lakes in Tz? The tallest tree too? Why Tz is the only united nation in africa? Why do we have the biggest deposit of uranium&graphites in Africa? Why is Tz so peaceful? Why is Tz very beautiful? Probably the most beautiful in Africa! What is behind all that? Surely that is not coincidence. 1 Like 1 Share |

Kazikazi: Yes you can. That pic was taken from the Kenyan side facing Tanzania, which explains why you can see Mt. Meru inside Tz. They form a straight line. What we can argue is the proximity to the mountain. Its possible the plane was just inside Tz or just about there but the pic was from KQ. Can we also have a pic of the glorious mountain from TQ (Air Tequilla) ? ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The residents of Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality in the Western region have threatened to embark on another massive demonstration in protest of the poor state of their roads, ABC News Ghana can report. Residents of the Municipality are to begin a series of demonstrations following the expiration of an ultimatum they gave to government over the fixing of their roads. The May 2 ultimatum was given during an earlier demonstration on April 10 where protesters blocked road access and burnt car tyres as they registered their displeasure with government. Community members clad in red chanted war songs as their procession patrolled the streets of Tarkwa. Police officers deployed to calm situations clashed with the protesters who pelted them with stones. A mother and her son were hit by stray bullets. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Speaking to reporters on their impending demonstration, one of the organizers revealed that their next demonstration is going to be massive since nothing has been done to fix their roads after their initial demonstration. The new set of demonstrations will feature 10 additional communities, one community member said to newsmen. “Our ultimatum elapsed this 2nd of May, today we want the leaders to understand that since our last demonstration, nothing has been done about the roads. We are still battling with dust here. So this time we are planning the demonstration again. The previous one, we used only four (4) communities, but this time we are organizing more than ten (10) communities to embark on this demonstration” he stated. He added, "although officials made us understand that demonstrations do not fix roads, as for us, we will continue to embark on series of demonstrations until they fix our roads.” ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Kwado means frog in hausa ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like
