I bought the phone for my sister. The phone is ok, so far so good. Other than the slow charge, if the person is not a heavy user the phone will do.

Ok �,thanks man. Not heavy user i believe, just normal girls way of browsing and surfing the net. Fb,camera, watzapp , movies,Snapchat, and so on. Hope the camera and the video resolution is ok too.

Please I need help with keyboard issue on my friend's Note 4x. Whenever you need to type and the keyboard is supposed to show, it doesnt. The space for keyboard just remains blank. I thought it was a Gboard issue so I downloaded Swift from play store. I went ahead and set the default keyboard to Swift and it still didnt show. I restarted several times and it sometimes showed after restart but disappeared shortly after. I have uninstall Gboard updates and reinstalled, still no luck.

Please help if anyone has experienced this before.

Sorry about your plight guys. But one quick question; have you tweaked your device in anyway?

I had to ask coz we've hardly seen any device (except in rear cases of defective units) suddenly acting up without some prior level of tampering.

If you have any issues, for timely troubleshooting it'll be best you state what you must have done, tweaked, modded or installed/uninstalled etc you get precise suggestions to get your issue resolved

Try reverting to default theme or clear cache of default keyboard app

In short, make una just give me themes with better status bar and notification panel customization.

If you use a 27w Qualcomm charger on the 18w capable xiaomi rn7 pro will it damage the battery?

In reality, there will not be any remarkable difference in the speed and time a QC4.0 charger will charge this phone from what a QC3.0 and even QC2.0 chargers can do!! In as much as the phone maximum charging input is pegged at 18w, QC2.0 and QC3.0 will charge it effectively because both are also 18w capable and backward compatible.
The phone will only draw a maximum of 18w from the 27w QC4.0 Charger can generate. So the extra capacity of the QC4.0 Charger above 18w will be redundant and incapable of damaging your phone's battery. So no big deal.

How do you mean pixelated? Is the design language on the notification panel and status bar not conversant with the rest of the theme's design?

Go to your contacts settings. You'll see "export" contacts option.
Choose export to internal memory/sd card depending your default storage location (remember where the file is saved).
Connect your phone to your PC then copy the saved file.
The file format (can't recall the name) can be read by outlook or copied to your gmail contacts if you want.

I don't know if pixelated is the right word, but the text in the notification panel, settings and contacts app sometimes look outta place either due to size or due to placement, other times the heading texts look like they were dragged out of proportion.

Then there's the issue of icons and search bar in the settings app looking funny.

Generally, IOS replica themes don't look as nice as other themes on MIUI 10, I don't know why.

The themes are never perfect. There's always a design issue here or there.
