guys, i have some question to ask about plastering...

from the angle of a client..

1. is rain a big concern during plastering, is it ok if i go ahead with it. Carpenter has already told me the bamboo scaffold which is already in place gets weak with too much rain. i am a little worried especially for safety reasons and their outcome of the job.

2. Please i have still not settled with a labour for my plastering yet, besides cost of labour, i have a few bricklayers who have come around for the job but i have not been able to verify their skills yet. And i know some of them will try to reduce their cost just to get the job, but may not be able to deliver to my taste.

so, please i need a good bricklayer, who is affordable and good. if you know anyone

Another question please, let say we are using this estimate. Is it possible to know the total or approximate square meter the roofing will be (For the roofing sheets)?

The truth is that calculating the roofing sheets is not the same with calculating the woods for wooden carcass framing, the best option and professional way to get accurate measurement on roofing sheet is to measure the physical wooden roofing carcass, so you can get all the listed point below accurately for stepped tiles, metcopo, long span.

Also note that you can try your best to get all these but may not be accurate, if you have a well detail roof plan drawing with full dimensions, but the problem always is that drawings are easily and always alter on physical construction when interpret on site.

So I can try to give you estimate of the cost of the roofing sheets.

Workmanship @N150 per square meters x 395square meters = N59, 250

Transport = N20, 000 within Lagos.
