Belovedolu: From experience if it's her first time of travelling 4months won't fly...they will look for one excuse, put 3weeks .....they will give her 6months and after her three weeks send a mail on her behalf to home office that she may not be able to leave after the 3weeks because of your new baby and you needs her around more...then state the new date which Is below the 6months month visit visa and make sure she leaves on or before the new date you have sent. Thanks |

Good morning Family and the ever helpful group heads. Please I need clarity on these • my mum has been to the uk once and now wants to renew. ( she sponsored herself then in 2012) even though her business wasn’t registered then and even now too. But I’ve seen that the forms are now more explicit. • she wants to renew again but I’m Confused as to if she should sponsor herself again but her business isn’t registered. She’s been sewing for over 40 years. Her account and investments can cover her but what do we do as per proof of source of funds ?? |

Please I need help. So I am want to fill a Visa application for a 10 year old whose mother has a valid Visa so she would be her primary sponsor. I cant seem to find the appropriate form to fill. I have started filling one which I found on the gov.uk website. But I am not sure its is the right one as I have gotten half way and where it asked if you have dependants it would not be including in the application. |

wintabotom: To be honest with you, it's not a case of negligence from the VO. There's a lot to say but I will just make it brief. Firstly your mom need to show the VO that she have income which is clearly not the case of your application., instead of having the tbill liquidated she should have rolled it over and since it looks like the investment tenure isn't 90 days which made it impossible for the interest to reflect in the statement she should have just used a certificate of investment from the bank rather than liquidating the funds in Nov last year which made it looked like she staged it. All she needed was to write a letter stating that the investment proceeds comes every 6 months which is verifiable. Secondly you said you are your moms sponsor with only 1k pounds that's too small with the current rate of ticket now that money isn't enough for her two ways ticket. In my opinion I think you applying for reconsideration isn't the issue now, you should explain how your moms tbill works because they didn't see any deposit from her tbill interest., again your access bank doesn't really matter now because your sponsor pledge is way too small given that she has no other income. The VO knows your mom wouldn't use her tbill investment capital to fund a visit to UK. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by QUEENBIZ: 3:06pm On May 14, 2019 |
First I think you can get a reference letter from the bank introducing you as the sole signatory to the account and from the particulars of directors,it will be shown that you are the sole owner of the business. Write a letter to explain why you do not feel the need to operate a personal bank account. This should work if your business is basically products/Services. Let other Guru in the house follow up with this. olorogun1: |

hi everyone. pls has anyone who did biometrics on april 18 received any news... kindly answer pls. pls this does not include priority or super priority applicants. thank you |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Jyyes: 5:28pm On May 14, 2019 |
wintabotom: Lol, I didn’t skip anything.. you can go for reconsideration, however you should break it but by bit with a letter explaining why the deposit in her account is irregular and how the interest of a tbill comes in. (ie not monthly), and again make it clear in the letter that your access bank account has your savings and that the Gtb is only a salary account. I hope it turns positive for her this time. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by wintabotom: 7:08pm On May 14, 2019 |
thank you very much.. it pains me that they didnt even read the cover letter.. I would apply for a reconsideration at least to show them they skipped some important documents. Just to show we dont agree with them I pray it turns positive Jyyes: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Jyyes: 7:30pm On May 14, 2019 |
wintabotom:Yeah, when you don’t agree with them on something and you can prove it beyond reasonable doubt they give it a pass mark. So I want you to make sure you make everything clear and understanble on your part. Tell them why she liquidated the investment in Nov, and also let them know the interest comes in every 3 6 or 12 months depending on how her investment tenure is. Then inform them in a letter that your access bank has your savings and that you can fund part of her expenses on this trip. And finally, there is a box on the application form that’s says do you have any additional information as part of your application? Please on that box fill in all the documents you adding as support document to her application. One more thing, is she going on tour or visiting family ? |

wintabotom: Apply again with same documents... state all you've stated in the cover letter in the application form (notes/further information). There are more chances VO reads it on the main application form, than on a cover letter. Clearly your mum/yourself can sponsor the trip. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by MT: 3:13pm On May 15, 2019 |
wintabotom: This has happened to my friend before. The VO clearly overlooked some documents. I wrote a letter of reconsideration on his behalf; the letter was stern but respectful. Like damn-the-consequence kind of thing. I asked my friend not to submit any new document, we just submitted all the previous documents and added just the letter as a new application. Visa issued 2 weeks later. If you need further information, you can ask. |
